Ok here's my observations on the show:
*Why the hell did rockers win most of the awards when hip-hop/r&b makes the money nowadays for MTV.
*Was I the only one who found R. Kelly's performance hilarious? Especially when he was imitating Kathy.
*Did yall see the looks on Destiny's Child face when those hootchies came out dancing? Michelle's face: priceless.
*Ludacris had the best performance.
*How the hell did Kelly Clarkson beat Gwen Stefani twice?
*Was it me, or did the awards suck **** this year. And I hate it in Miami; I don't like how they build the stage.

You are forever whining when someone who isn't black win's something. Yes Hip hop/r&b is playing mostly on MTV but thats not all. MTV is a pop/rock/hip hop/rap station it doesn't discrimnate. So if the voters voted fairly that green day should win ohh well, green day has been a staple on mtv wayyy before kanye and game came out.
If I'm not mistaken Black people sing what is now called rock(ie FeFe Dobson, dude from Sevendust, & Lenny Kravtiz) and white people sing R&B and rap(ie Eminem, Jon B, Joss Stone). You made it a race issue, not me.
And when else did I whine about black people not winning anything?
I like Kelly Clarkson, I think it was a tough call between her and Gwen.
I really like Coldplay and Green Day, so I definitely thought they deserved to win over the wack rappers MTV supports.
And I was frustrated by R. Kelly's performance.

- Im glad Kanye didnt win Video of the year for Jesus Walks...WAAAAAAAAAY too overrated.
- I was happy Kelly Clarkson won her two awards. Thats my girl right there. I love her music and she can sing
- I gotta cosign with everyone on the rap videos...too redundant and not enough creativity so they didnt deserve to win any...the person who deserved their awards for their videos DESERVED them..Luda, Missy...both very hot, differnt, and creative videos...
- My personal opinion...that video by the rock group My Chemical Romance shoulda got VMA of the year. Everytime I watch the video Im just like woooow...thats deep.
- Beyonce's dress was ****...
- was it REALLY necessary for Eva Longoria to come out in that swimsuit? I mean really... :???:
- Diddy was aight as the host...We need Chris Rock again...he keeps it funny...
- I wish someone would cut off that hand of Mariah's that she always gotta wave around when shes singing....its annoying
- Overall...the awards were aight this year...they have been much better in the past. In my opinion the host really makes or breaks the show...I was expecting more but it was ok. BET awards much better
BY THE WAY...am i the ONLY one tired of seein rappers not get dressed up for award shows? Seriously...you always see these Mike Jones, G Unit, Lil Jon and BME n*ggas NEVER dressed up at award shows. Always wearin the same sh*t you would see them chillin on the block in...they need to get it together...learn some professionalism. :???: Jay Z looked nice in his suit by the way.

I feel u on these. When Eva came out on stage i was like "ummm...was that really necessary boo boo?" She know she felt funny too, cuz she was look all extra awkward.
and THANK YOU. I'm glad i'm not the only one who is irked by Mariah and that darn swingin hand of hers. She has a great voice, but her stage presence has alwayz been boo boo. The girl just doesn't know what to do with herself up there
And i don't know who's bright idea it was to get Diddy to host the show. Somebody should have spent a lil more time thinkin about that one.
But yep, i agree. BET Awards was MUCH better. And i'm not just sayin that cuz i worked there either
1. diddy was trash
2. and eva shouldnt have said that stupid **** thing about the **** when people did die from it....but she still hot
3. most of the performances were uncreative
4. KELLY can not..i repeat...CAN NOT SING LIVE!!!!
