Yup. I mean I don't know how much you guys do or don't know but the most important items to me were: 1. Spelman weights your GPA. So the more AP, or Honors classes you take the higher your GPA. AP classes count for 1 more point and Honors classes count for a .5 point. 2. Spelman superscores your ACT score. So they take the highest you got in each category and come up with a new score! 3. You can put as much information in your application as you like. The more they know, the easier the decision. 4. As far as scholarships she really wants people to look outside Spelman but the Fin. Aid and advisors try to do everything they can to help you stay in Spelman. Uh, that's about it I guess. As far as what I found important. Now I'm on a mad hunt for scholarships.

I just joined HBCU Connect so I'm a little new to this whole thing.. Spelman is ABSOLUTELY my dream school!! I completed my application this weekend for early notification & im EXTREMLY nervous about getting in.. my credentials are DECENT but i'm still a little scared SAT Score-1630 G.P.A-3.34 (I know, horrible) 7 A.P's (I've doubled up in maths and sciences) 200+ hrs of community service 3 reccomendations (haha i know, a bit much) Hampton had been my first choice for the past couple of years but right now my passion is Spelman
