this thread is for high school seniors who are HIGHLY interesed in attending Spelman College

i meet ms. gardner she came to new orleans in sept. she was very nice, she informed us about everthing and she came to my school also it was a pleasure meeting her

Yup. I mean I don't know how much you guys do or don't know but the most important items to me were:
1. Spelman weights your GPA. So the more AP, or Honors classes you take the higher your GPA. AP classes count for 1 more point and Honors classes count for a .5 point.
2. Spelman superscores your ACT score. So they take the highest you got in each category and come up with a new score!
3. You can put as much information in your application as you like. The more they know, the easier the decision.
4. As far as scholarships she really wants people to look outside Spelman but the Fin. Aid and advisors try to do everything they can to help you stay in Spelman.
Uh, that's about it I guess. As far as what I found important. Now I'm on a mad hunt for scholarships.
