I just joined HBCU Connect so I'm a little new to this whole thing.. Spelman is ABSOLUTELY my dream school!! I completed my application this weekend for early notification & im EXTREMLY nervous about getting in.. my credentials are DECENT but i'm still a little scaredSAT Score-1630G.P.A-3.34 (I know, horrible)7 A.P's (I've doubled up in maths and sciences)200+ hrs of community service3 reccomendations (haha i know, a bit much)Hampton had been my first choice for the past couple of years but right now my passion is Spelman
you are pretty much in there you have nothing to worry bout, seems like to me
^yeah i agree...girl you are fine, better than me cuz my school doesnt offer AP or honors courses...and dont worry about recommendations b/c i have like 5 lol

SC was supposed to be at the National College fair a few weeks ago in BR, but they cancelled...i think im going to find out if they're coming back to La myself

that's how i felt about my act scores...
mannnn it's some stiff competition that is applying there, i think its really gonna come down to the essay...because everybody is so evenly matched

they moved the national college fair to like the beginning of last month, but they should have another one idk, i'm applying for regular decision too no rush just wanna take my time, but spelman wasn't even at the college fair in b.r idk why
I'm applying Early Notification because A) NO ONE GETS DENIED. I don't know if you guys know that or not. They will either accept you or move you to the Regular Decision pile and ask for a new ACT, or your January grades. B) I can't imagine waiting until April.

sPELMAN GOT ALL MY APPLICATION MATERIALS BY OCT 27TH AND i KNOW THE REPLY DATE IS DEC 31 BUT I AM HOPING I KNOW BEFORE THEN. I HEARD THE SAME STORY AT MY INFORMATION SESSION.
