I live in Michigan so maybe I will get my letter tomorrow. But I kinda gave up on Spelman. I really REALLY looked past my strong desire to go there and I realized that for me its not worth being in $100,000+ worth of debt. Even though the field I want to go into is kinda recession-proof and well paying, I just don't feel like taking that kinda risk with my future. And then on top of having debt, you have four years of the constant worry ! Its getting harder and harder to get loans and even harder to pay them off. So unless they meet Howard's scholarship its pretty much a done deal.
How much did Howard give you. I feel the same exact way. Howard gave me full tuition and its like am I really gonna pass up full tuition for $120,000 worth of debt. More and more it look slike im going to howard

Congrats!! I was so happy that my 2nd choice gav eme full tuition, but when i looked on howards website i realized that i was 80 points on the SATs from getting a full ride wit room andboard. I was somewhat disappointed wit myself
Congrats! I didn't get mine but they did send me a letter saying basically they lost part of my application and need me to re-do it before I get a decision. =/
