I want a tongue ring just to have for me I wouldn't be showing it off but I don't think I would get one. You have to be real careful with those anyway I think it's the same with getting your belly pierced but whatever.

Dont even worry about it......I've been having my tougue pierced since January and it didnt hurt at all....I didnt even know it was over until my sister started to squeeze my hands......As my sista, I wouldnt lie to you it didnt hurt at all....swelled for a few days though...Good luck with your decision!!!!! And dont worry about dudes and what they think...They wont know anything unless you tell them......
I had mine done, then I lost the barbell so it closed up. I'm thinkin about doin it again, but maybe that's only cuz I'm bored and I do stuff like that when I'm bored. It didnt hurt that bad, but I kept biting the balls and that didnt feel too great. As far as what people think...who gives a yea yuh?!? But I dont know what kind of example that'd be setting cuz my little sister wants one and I could just see her coming home with a hole in her tongue and her mother blaming me...but then again I"m a grown **** woman, if you can't control your 15 year old.........but i digress.
You should've care about anyone's "impression". I have a friend that has one and she got it cause she wanted something to refelct from her mouth when she does her spoken word. I was considering one and I kinda still am but I said I wasn't getting anymore piercings. My ears and my navel are more than enough and those took long enough to heal! :x :arrow:
