Babygirl, even if it's only by one year, we are still an older organization. The fact that your organization is apart of the Divine 9 doesn't really ish to many others. Y'all just another greek letter organization. Besides, you talkin' to Howard U! Girl, I'm as Greek as can be. Let that marinate......
Ok first of all, that was a compliment, second of all, u already know when the d9 refers to non greek, we mean anyone that isnt in the pan. not that we think we're better, its just like that. just like the stepshows. 2. When one says that I am not greek, I take the comment as is. You say we aren't greek. Last I checked, we were. Let a brotha know about any hidden messages within your comment that I might have to decipher.
3. No one is downing your org. You down mine. I don't if it was intentional or not, but you did.
4. Psi's purposes are extremely different from y'alls. Ours is music, bands, service and education. Epsilon Rho doesn't have to be SEEN. Who care's who sees them just as long as they are actually doing their service? Why are they required to come out on Clubs and organizations day? Just so they can make an appearance like everybody else and make themselves look better? Whats more important, saying and trying to get the community service you do known to people or just actually doing it and going on with the rest of your business while planning more service activities? STOP,........think about it.......
5. Get off of YOUR high horse. Yea, the fact that your in D9 doesn't mean anything. Many other Greek Lettered Organizations, whether they be white, black, latino, interacial, etc,.....do community service as well. People don't join D9 orgs to do community service. Thats why you have orgs like A Phi Q and Gamma Sigma Sigma. People join D9 because a relative was in it, they want be cool, they wanna stroll, they say calls, etc. Thats the truth. However, I have nothing against y'all. I honestly see what y'all do in the community (especially Zeta Phi Beta and Phi Beta Sigma).
All I'm saying is that some of y'all say some IGNORANT stuff and don't even know it have the time. Thats cool, because now you know.
And about my Howard statement.........
.........Howard invented Black Greek Life, inside and outside the D9. And yes we would win every stepshow if we participated. I'd put my most prized piece of nalia on it. :twisted:

We refer to orgs that arent in the d9 as non-greek. Every d9 org does. Even the school does. Nobody is tryna down u. Never was.
And i think it would be smart to broadcast your community service events so then more people know about them, other ppl can come and enjoy the service that u are doin and perhaps volunteer. It also makes a name for yourself as an org that does things on campus as well as in the community.
And another thing, i didnt join the d9 to stroll cuz i really cant, or step cuz i have no rhythm, or do a call cuz i hardly ever do my call outside and neither do many sorors. I joined b/c i liked what they were about and what they were founded upon and also, b/c the sorors were cool when i went to the interest meeting and kept it real the whole time and last but not least, they have true sisterhood. My chapter only has 30 members but we did more on the campus than the other sorority's with the larger numbers. Thats why i say numbers mean nothing, its all about what u give back
And u r right, the fact that im in the d9 sure doesnt mean anything nor make me better than anybody else. I like ppl to like me for me cuz i always keep it real and when ur real, ur gonna be liked regardless of affiliation in a sorority or fraternity. It doesnt make me, i make it by what i do for Zeta
