Enter Only If You Are Grown...Or Nosey! Posted on 07-06-2007
C Nels

Wassup grown folk! Some people say they're grown when they turn 18. Some say they're grown when they turn 21. Some people are "grown" due to circumstances. Then there are some people that are never grown, case in point, Michael Jackson! But for real, fill in the blanks... I knew I was grown when ________ and I was __ years old at the time!

Miami is much more laid back and family oriented. California is very fast paced. The people out here in cali are ok; some are all about the hollywood scene, but I can't blame them this is the place to be. I even did it. They pay good. It's very diverse too; you got the hispanics, asians, afro- americans, persians, and mcuh more. Miami is Miami. It's not what you see on tv mainly. The people have manners. They hold the door open for you and when you're walking down the street the adults say hi and we greet them too and keep moving. Out here in calli everyone is in their own space with their Ipods and phones (no eye contact at all). The weather is different. Cali is real weird right now especially. The weather man said it was going to rain on tuesday. However, it did not rain and it was freezing. Now it is HOT!!!! We just had a minor **** too. That is one reason why I have to move. These earthquakes are no joke. Everyone is saying " The big one is coming" Well I pray that I am not in LA at the moment.

Cool. I'll make it to the left coast one day to visit but could never live out there. An **** is one natural disaster that I don't want to deal with. Where do you think you want to move to next?

I hope to move to the DC area. I plan on attending Howard University for my Jr and Sr year with my sister. I don't know if I want to stay there for the masters program. Then back to cali for another 3 prob(IDK). But after that I have no idea where I want to settle at. I was thinking Hawaii.

Living the life! Enjoy it. I heard living in Hawaii is expensive though.

Almost every attractive place is expensive!!! I do not want to move inland. I can take the risk. I would rather experience it than just think about moving there.
