Any way as ignorant as it may sound we (as in my family) shun the idea of having a caucasion (sp) as a mate its just not going to fly and if it does its not going down without hearing everybody's mouth about it. I cant see my self with a white man its just weird and besides that im not attracted to men outside my race i dunno maybe thats just me but i would feel awkward.

I haven't dated outside my own race thus far, but I don't feel like limiting myself to just African-American men. I love my black folks, lawd knows I do, but if someone from another race or ethnicity chances by, I'm going to **** em right on up.

Have to disagree. Go out with who you want and marry who you want. There is no pure anything. Racial/Ethnic mixing has been going on for thousands of years.
I beg to differ....a good friend of mine is mixed [black, white, irish] and she is an extremely strong young woman who is proud of who she is. I don't think that "pure breeding" necessary makes for a stronger race. It's all about the upbringing of the child in my opinion. If you teach your child to lift their head high and to embrace their multicultural background then they will be strong individuals regardless of whether they are half this, or a quarter of that.

Ahhh boo on that... I'm not talking about trying to build the super race...I used the term "breed" because that was the term that was being used in previous posts. It's not even that deep on trying to create a ****...Uhh...But will say that I do not support a huge mixing pot of genes, cultures, and races...
I'm talking about creating a strong identity...That usually couples of a same race can provide for their children... and as Evy said...there are cases that some children don't have the identity problems....Which is wonderful...but if you want to go with the most general answer...I don't believe a white woman/man can effectively teach a mixed child what it is to be that "Strong" Black/Hispanic (or whatever the other race may be)...
