:twisted: Okay, i talked to my roomate a few days ago, and i was kinda **** about what i heard. It seems like he is a bookworm, and he says he likes staying to himself in his room (our room). Man what am i pose to do??? he doesn't drink or smoke, not that its good but how am i gonna deal with it???
If anybody has had this happen to them, please give me some advice, i am completely lost, thanks in an advance.
It may suck at first...but like Carlene said, you will find other people in ur dorm who share in ur interests. You dont have to CHILL with ur roommate. Just live with them. ANd dont be so quick to call you lame. He prolly was saying the same thing about you when you said u like to smoke and drink all the time. :wink:
No i didn't say i smoke and drink all the time, i can't smoke at all because of the military, and i don't mean to call him lame, i am just hoping he ain't. i hope he goes out often, cause like i mentioned earlier, i don't wanna see his face everytime i come in the room. but like u said, i gotta wait n see
Yea that is prolly the first conversation we'll have. i just enjoy going out and meeting new people and i hope he does too. wouldn't get on ya nerves if everytime u came in ya room, he was in there, just chillin???
YES! IT DOES! My roomate this year was like that. But he always had his stupid lil' cronies with him too. :evil: I swear all the did was play video games and watch ****. And for some odd reason they didn't like ventilation. I'd walk in the room and it would smell straight up like NUTZ. At the beginning of the year him and his lil cockeyed girlfriend would be in there all the time. Couldn't even take a damn shower. I'd come out and hear "Wooooo.... take it off!!!" :evil: I made the mistake of waking up one night when she was spending the night of waking up, and heard her giving him head. And she swallowed!! and had the nerve to say "Hmmm... not as salty as I thought!" Jesus... let me stop... I could go on and on... :roll:
I'm an incoming AGGIE and i feel the same way but I don't know who my roommate is yet. So I guess I really can't speak on this yet till i talk to him. Oh yea I'm in Pride Hall!
My roomate dont talk!!! If it aint got ish to do about her boyfriend she dont care. She will get dressed up wait for him to call the room and wait hours on end until he shows up. I try to start convo. with her when i actually stay in the room, but she is like "shhh...my boyfriend is coming over soon." Or when she does have something to say, its about something depressing about her family.Cant wait until my bestfriend come back next semester.Anyone else got this problem?
So what are u saying??? u makin it seem like i am lame. i know how to deal with people, i been through basic and tech school with all kinds of people. i was just hoping me and him would be compatible so we can chill or do things together. i know i'll have plenty of people to chill with around campus but why not chill with my roommate??? but you are right, i am sure it'll be more peeps around the way. i'm in Aggie suites, so again, you're right

Sweetheart thats life...When you enter into college you will run across all kinds of people.You should have a little bit more tolerance for people who dont share the same interest as you.A matter of fact you should be happy to get a roomie who does not seem triflin'.
