I'm lookin at MTV now and True Life is on talkin about obese ppl gettin gastric bypass surgery...so how do you keep in shape... I jog 3 miles at the track 5 days a week or 2 miles up hills...also how do you feel about ppl gettin gastric bypass surgery...do you think it's a cop-out?
i stay busy I try to work out every morning b4 work but sometimes a sists just don't get up
I run sprints and try to do at least a mile a day. Plus i love to swim
Weights just ain't for me and niether is surgery
I can't see how some people can get so big as to have surgery> If you don't have any medical problems then you can lose the weight naturally.
I don't do anything...i'm jus small. But next week I start cheerleading practice & we're gunna be running the river, lifting weights, & other conditioning exercises
Small doesn't always mean "in shape"
Big doesn't always mean "out of shape"
Exactly cuz I bet my boy J Scur can out run any of ya and he 290. He was our Noseguard in high school

Im not trying to be funny....but I ALWAYS hear 'heavyset' people say that.......
i have a high metabolism. it's starting to slow down a little bit though so i like to do workout tapes like the tai-bo one and some old MTV tape my stepdad has. it's kinda fun. i run track but i don't do long distance.
I got a memebership to World's Gym and i work out with my trainer i do an hour's worth of total body training every other day (30 min. arms & 30 min. legs).
I go to the gym everyday to ride the training bike and i put it on the hardest program (it includes 1 tall hill followed by a brief plateau back to another tall hill and back down) that workout takes about 20 minutes.
Then i run my 3 miles a day on this back dirt rode behind my house followed by 200 sit ups and 200 push- ups.
For cardio i shadow box with 1 lb gloves on the days that i don't do my total body workout.
After each workout i drink a protein shake. ("Isopure" for peepz that wanted to know)
Sounds easy right
And as far as surgery i don't think its a cop out because for a lot of folks that is the only way that can help them. Once you get a certain size movement becomes harder and exercise is out of the question. Some times medium and skinny built people take their body size for granted. I know many people including myself would look at people like that and be like why the he77 don't they jus get off their **** and do something. Now people that allow themselves to get huge just because they have nothing else to do, i honestly don't personally care for them but people that have medical conditions i can understand why they need surgery and i don't see it as a cop out i see it as a plus because they are admiting that they have a problem and they are willing to fix it.
I HIT THE WEIGHT ROOM FOR ATLEAST 11 HRS EACH WEEK..
BENCH, SQUAT, (CURLS ARE A MUST... AS OUR COACH SAYS..CURLS FOR THE GIRLS)..... ANY THING ELSE U CAN THINK OF I PROBABALLY DO... (I AM A MIRROR NUT,,, I BE IN THE WEIGHT ROOM RELIGOUSLY TRYING TO GET THE PERFECT BODY
....
I RUN MY **** OFF... 3:00 3 TIMES A WEEK.... IT BE HOT AS HELL
i hate going into the weight room but every coach says you need to go into the weight room to get stronger. we do stupid stuff like lunges though the boys don't have to waist time on that ish. but i'm taking that class twice this year.
All this talk about excersise makes my head hurt me my self I eat a little Debbie cake every once in while to keep my sugar level straight. I sitt on mt **** and only because I don't have a car I walk where ever I go. But never to far in not in any wheather above 80 degrees. Sike no I do excersise but on sit-ups
lol. U killin me homie.

I keep in shape by being an Hamptonian. Because I can't have a car, I basically walk all the time. I lost like 20 pounds since being in college.
Yep, i know that's right! I'd say a good mix of starvation and transportation deprivation does the trick for me. Being at Howard and dealing with those hills (they don't call it the "hilltop" for nothin) & being too busy or too sickened by the cafeteria food, pretty much had me LOSING the "freshman" 15, instead of gaining it. Yall really inspire me tho, so i'm really gonna try to get in better shape. I guess me and Billy Blanks will be reuniting again  .
Damn ROTC keeps me in shape with running 5am, 3 times a day but...besides that I run 3 miles a everyday, drink water, and i even started that new South Beach diet (kinda like Atkins) where u watch ur carb and sugar intake...lost 13 pounds within a 3 weeks. {had to get rid of those wonderful freshmen 10 pounds}
