Who's homecoming is the crunkest? I personally had fun at TSU's homecoming in 2001. Then HU's homecoming in 2002. I cannot say much for 2003 though.

Cosigns. FAMU Homecoming is off the chain esp. the carnival/block party, dorm step show, and the game(or halftime at least) only when we play Hampton do we get some competition
The only reason why the 100 got into the Battle of the Bands in ATL was because the judges felt sorry that it was y'all last year playin' w/ us black folk.. I guess they were wrong... :roll: ...so thats howard excuse for NOT making it to the battle of bands in ATL? :roll: that got to be the most dumbness excuse I ever heard a band say for being sorry...gone with that! ... and just to drop in on a lil info, the bands was choosen by voting, not judges!

I think I'm about done w/ this band arguement.. save it for the 5th quarter...

LMBAO... :lol: :lol: :lol: I swear...i LOVE my school and i LOVE the people that go there. We just dont give a fukk. Its funny cause I know people who had planned to go to Howard, but when they saw its " surroundings " they changed their mind with the quickness. I never been to Howard for myself, so I cant give an honest opinion...but I will give respect where respect is due. If Howard is located in the ghetto as I have heard, it doesnt take away from their greatness one bit. And it must not be that bad with all the students who go there. Regardless, they will and always will be THE MECCA. :wink:

umm.. yeah.. you haven't been to a Howard homecoming then.. I mean.. unless the entire line of them 135 girls the Deltas just crossed were ALL on stage, I don't know how y'alls events could be more hype.. but to each their own.. I guess they were wrong... :roll: lol actually that was part of the "trifling ghetto mess"...but the "mess" i was referring to was yall actually thinking yall could get almost $20,000-30,000 DOLLARS FROM Howard for playing a 5-10 minute halftime show, like yall done automatically won a battle of the bands competition or some ish....da hell we gonna pay yall that type of money for doing a damn short 5-10 minute homecoming show.....yes that was "some trifling ghetto mess"....and im mad yall still keep talking about us being ghetto....well hell at least our athletics wasnt so "ghetto" for all our awards and ish to be taken away......and a school dont have to be "in the ghetto" to be ghetto.....not think on that for a while...cause i live 30-45 minutes from tallahassee and yall negroes sometimes confuse "crunkness" with "ghettoness'...coming from a born and raised southern girl. oh yeah ive heard about a&t's homecoming...still dont think its better than HUs but i cant judge till ive been there...famu's is great as well not gonna hate but i still like HU's better

ha, it's so funny how so many peeps have sumthin to say about HU being in the "ghetto". Half of yall live in the ghetto right now. Then peeps get a lil college in their lives, and the ghetto is all of a sudden taboo. I was born in raised in what may be considered "the ghetto", why the hell would i be scared to go to school in one?
