I was just wondering when does everyone else take their lines and it is ALWAYS at the same time .. Like last fall our Zetas took a line but they didnt take one in the spring which is unusual because they usually take both .. The Sigmas took a fall line but this year they are taking a Spring line .. Deltas have always taken a Spring line .. AKAs didnt have a line ..
The Sigmas probated for about 1 hour and 15 minutes .. Deltas 2 hours .. Zetas 30 minutes .. What about your campus?
LOL... my short self had to look through the video screen of somebodies camera like i was watching TV Lol...
The Alphas got hi-tech with theirs this past fall... The had a projector screen... that show was serious.
Man we not even gonna get deep into what Alpha Rho (APhiA) does for their probates...
That chapter must have so much money..cause their proabtes are "PRODUCTIONS". Helicopters, Mack Trucks, Lighting systems, DJ's, Videographers...they go ALL OUT!
I swear i think one day they are going to have the line propel themselves off the roof of King Chapel or parachute from a bomber plane onto the football field.
But I think they spend a good amount of time during their intake process learning Steps because come probate time...EVERYBODY is on point a precise.....which is funny because you know people before they go online and they have NO rhythm...so it must have took alot of work to get you to get that step down!
Not to discredit or defame anyone or their process...just an observation.
I got hoarse that night becase some of my folk crossed that night and my voice get sore from yelling "HOLD IT DOWN" all night lol...
We always yell out numbers of people who aint even on the line...so if its like 7 on the line...we are in the crowd yelling out "HOLD IT DOWN NUMBER 12!"
But its always nice to see people you know cross...as hard as they are trying to look..you know deep down inside they are EXTREMELY happy!
I remember my soph year one of the Kappas broke his grit and started smiling towards the end of the show...he couldn't help it...he finally made it after like 3 times.....his prophytes just went over and hugged him.

The Zetas from Grambling got robbed last year for Bayou Classic. They were rollin...

Awww. I get a tad bit emotional when I hear stuff like that. It's all about love. And it's good to know that his prophytes showed him that type of love. I can only imagine the happiness he was feeling. I know how happy I was, and I only applied once. But it was still a long time coming. So I feel him.
Personally, I was too tired to smile at my "introductory step show" (or whatever it is referred to. ).
yeah during my probate some of my line sisters were crying behind their shades. It was really beautiful
Yeah probate season at Howard is always a trip. I would say that its the Spring companion to Homecoming. No matter how well you think you know who's on line, its always a wonderful surprise when you get to the yard. And the shows are so crazy.
Who ever said the thing about people hanging out of classes in Douglass, its so true. My white teachers would just like be like "well I've been informed that this friday some sort of celebration will be going on outside and it will be a bit loud so it wouldn't be wise to hold class" what they really meant is "I don't want to be hurt when no one shows up friday". But yeah, people be running and screaming and falling all over themselves. I remember even as a freshman not fully understanding what was going on, but wanting to be all up in the mix. I was at the front row of every probate, I know the greeks must have been mad hehehe. Cuz I know that this year when I was at the Alpha probate and random girls were trying to break the arm links that the AKAs had for crowd control I was like "What the ...?"

That is hilarious!!! I swear I'm gonna do that this fall. Over the spring when the Alphas came out, it was 7 of them. They crossed guys who were cool with alot of folk so people were like "THAT'S RIGHT ONE THROUGH SEVEN!!" or "I SEE YOU CHEM LAB
