Ok kids-its almost that time of the year! :lol: *I used to hate those "back to school" signs everywhere a year and some change ago* But anywayze....how are you "dressing" up ur dorm room this year?
Me...my theme this past year was winnie-the-pooh...yes ya girl held it down for pooh bear-i had the cutest side of the room. This year i dont know....seeing how my future dorm building burned down this past March (Richmond did not make me feel safe that day)....i will be spending 1st semester in a hotel...so i really dont know what i can do with that. :? But anyone got any ideas on what u or what i should do?
I have no idea yet on how my room is going to be because I do not know how my dorm at Skegee is set up because the one I am staying in just got remodeled. It will be cute though.

lol...im going through a phase....lol...it was B2K everything...but they are no more lol...so i've moved on to Spongebob squarepants...lol....nice move eh!?

me and my roomate putting a couch in our room this year.. last year we had the lava lamp and black light... got our room set up perfect for company....if u know what i mean....
How you going to put a couch in your room? Aren't the dorms too small?
depends on what dorm u stay in... the rooms in the athletic dorm are big enough if u arrange them right...

Well...tha CB stays tru to tha blue...I'm goin navy, baby and white...ya DIGGG!?!?!?!? I wanted to do royal blue...If I can find a spot in jacktown, I might switch out 2nd semester

I usually did something different every semester, but dealing with cars and music. Hands down, I always have the hottest room in the suites. I mounted black lights on all of my walls. I've got record covers mounted mounted in a few places and CDs mounted all around the top of my walls. I also have car posters up almost like wallpaper. I took a bedsheet that I wasn't using to make a canopy over my bed that could be closed off. When I closed my bed off, I made it so that there was a constant flow of air. Air would come in by my pillow and exit out the other end over the top of my bedframe. I also have lava lamps and old liquor bottles with highlighter fluid in on various shelves and on my desk. I also made a shelf to go on my desk.
This year however, I have an apartment. I'm going for a look with a pretty good bit of foilage. I have a daybed that I'm going to cover in ivy. I'm also going to get some trees from Garden Ridge and don them with lights to and put them in the corners or my room, next to my bed, and next to my entertainment center. I'm also going to put some in my living room, hopefully next to my television. I'm also going to mount my speakers in the corners of my room, and cover them with ivy as well. Ivy will also surround my window. I'm going to take some of the things that I purchased from my trip to South America and mount them in various places. I have a burgundy and white area rug that will go in the middle of my room. My bedsheets and comforter will be all one colour (target is having a sale in case some of you are interested... $25 for a whole twin set). I'm not sure about what kind of curtains I want yet. What will be the catcher is that I'm gonna spray all trees with UV sensitive spray so that when I turn on my black lights, they will stand out. My bathroom will be all blue and I'll be switching gold and silver accents at my leisure. That's all I can think of at the moment... I'm sure I missed something. :roll:
