Now that we're up on election time, what do you thing about Black conservatives? Are they the next big thing in Black politics, or do you thing they are misguided? If you consider yourself conservative, do you feel pressured to hide your political beliefs to be accepted? Is there a future for Blacks in the Republican Party?

This post started off so convincing.
Then it occured to me that the modern day Republican Party was founded in 1864 by Whigs, Democrats and Free Soil party members who were concerned about influencing the national infrastructure to focus on concerns of citizens in the midwest and further. They also opposed slavery and supported higher education. So then the Republican party could not have been created to enforce the subjugation of black people.
Technically, black people as a community are very conservative, thus our blind allegiance to a Democratic party which struggles to define itself, baffles me. They take your vote for granted. Register independent and let them jokers come to you to campaign.

oh yeah...and howard dean...wtf? i'm like is this a joke? did yall hear his acceptance peech in harlem last year? it was like when gore had endorsed him...it was in front of a largely balck audience and the sh!t was dumbed down! he started talking about "playing ball with da brothas" and fighting for civil rights n junk like that...he started talking about how he wanted to take america back to the 60s...i'm like wtf? what you talking about, man? do you know what the hell was happening to blacks in the 60s? or is he talking about brining back protest and pure anarchy...i'm like these stupid ****! like the 60s was one of the darkest decades in american history...1968 was the worst year for america period!
