For any 05 Senoirs what are your sat scores looking like if you have already taken it and if you took it today October 9th how do you think you did.
I took it in June and got a 900 but I want to go to hampton so im trynig to get at least a 1000.
I just got my SAT's back and I went up 110 points and I've got a 1210 I'm hoping this can get me some money I was eyeing Howards Freshman scholarships.

just got my scores back and I have a 1030...
pretty good for my first time and I barely studied...I expected WORSE
It's weird how I got the EXACT same thing on the PSAT
I Took the SAT & got a 1030 which isn't tooo bad but I'm going to retake it in May because I know I'll do better on the new one. I took my ACTs last year & got a 23 & I just took it las weekend but I already know I didn't do so well
First time i took it i received a 1040, but the second time i took which was on Dec. 4th i scored a 1110 going up 70 points isn't bad i dunno if i will take it again...

I took the old and new SAT but...neither one of them counted. :roll: It was just for practice (although it was VERY real and i was still kinda nervous) but moving on I took the old one in 7th grade for sum kind of Duke Talent program and scored a 1000 and i recently took the new one with Kaplan, and i want to say that i agree with the person who said that the new SAT is easier (although its been about 6 yrs since in took the old one) because of the essay but then again, those who struggle with writing might have a harder time. For those who dont know, they grade the essay first on a scale of 1-6 and then convert that score to something on a scale of 800pts just like the math/verbal..and its really nothing to worry about because (and this is what they told me afterwards) the judges arent worried too much about all the grammar/punctuation/etc, but are looking to make sure that your ideas are well organized, clearly stated and amply supported. STRUCTURE is Key. oh and no more analogies....more functions...umm i guess thats pretty much it. I scored what wouldve been a 2100 so i was kind of dissapointed that it wasnt real but now im more motivated to do even better when i take it for real this march. I hope this helped. Good Luck!!
