Go to the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. Walk around holding hands and then just sit in a cozy lil' spot and talk.
Summer 2004 was full of those nights.....damn *smh*
Yeah, I miss the little park walks too.
Only problem is, SOMEbody is afraid of birds.....cough, Trist, cough
Then we start kissing and stuff then a fish comes out the water and brings a strawberry cheescake over to us. And then I get scared but he says shh baby don't be scared. Then a whole bunch of fish come out the water and sings Cupid by 112 while my man feeds me some cake.
This ****had me in class rollin. The chick next to me lookin at me like im crazy n shyt
As far as first dates, I wouldn't want it to be intimate because I might not like him and I would feel like money was wasted or I would be uncomfortable. I would want to just chill, possibly with other people. I would go for playing a video game, going to an event at a museum or in town, etc. That way, we can have something to do and talk about in case its **** between us. I would probably want to drive my own car too. I've been kidnapped too many times :-(
Now if it was established that we're feeling each other, then by all means, let's go on a walk (just gotta watch those damn birds) or out to dinner. I like to go on scenic drives too.
*thinks*....
I'd probably invite her over my place, or go over hers to cook so she could be comfortable in her own setting. Relatively slow jazz music or some of the slower Earth Wind and Fire songs, possibly 112 or Gill. Id have to whip up somethin...make her whatever drink she wanted and served the food with its respective wine (or some iced koolaid, dont get it twisted).
After that id have some straight up club music or somethin fast that we could dance to, maybe teach her some cha-cha or break it down with anything else. We'd sit down and I'd hear about her day, get her laughin with a few jokes and never lose eye contact. Id get a movie she's never seen and we'd watch it together, while i try to tickle her or whisper goofy nothings in her ear, just to make her remember we're havin a good time. A few kisses on the cheek later, wed just hug the night away and probably fall asleep there on the couch.
I like a simple date. The first one I went on was to a playground/park. We played on the playground and sat down and talked. That was good, it gave me a sense of knowing that I was with someone who had direction in his life. Then when we were done at the park, we went to his house and played video games, and he fixed me a...HAM SAMMICH!!! That was love right there ya'll.
yeah the fish thang would be a great date but on the real tip though if we at school and he aint got no car we can go walking while everybody going to some school party but while we walking we get chased by a dog or some sh!t and we have to jump the baseball field fence together. Then we just order some pizza or some sh!t in da room and watch a movie and chill.
if he got a car then we can go somewhere fun like an amusement park or ESPN Zone (if we in da A)
I'm mad this old @ss topic is back!
Spoken word / poetry / cypher sessions.
Obscure little restaurants that nobody else would know about. Just to try something new and keep it unexpected.
Beaches and parks are always good places to chill & talk
If you can cook, cook for her and do dinner and movies at home.
Anywhere there is live music is good.
Holla!

Yeah. I like the little 'lesser known' restaurants, too.
I can cook....but it'll be either undercooked or burnt.
I like to take em to places where a conversation can be held.
