But I'm waiting on a few scholarships to notify.
*phew* I thought I was the only one that didn't have any money AL ALL. Congrats to all y'all that got money though, you're soo lucky. I've applied to scholarships (and applying for more) but I doubt I'll win any. Loans are next for me if money doesn't work out. And I filled out the FAFSA early but that doesn't really guaratee me any money.

Ok, i got my CAU financial aid letter, and quite frankly i was
OFFENDED
i mean it was only the stafford loan for 12,000. No grants no parent loans no NOTHING

So far I got a external scholarship for $1000. Anybody goin to Howard know's the deadline to get that scholarship that pays your full tuition? I would of been retaken my act's but I was expectin to go to VSU.
I got the Hampton Scholars Scholarship, which is full tuition. hey thats 13000 dollars. Whats sad is that 13000 means NOTHING at hampton!!!!! cz after fees and room/board and transportation i'ma still need like 10000 more dollars lol

I called up there a good amount of time and the times they actually answered the phone... :x they said that they usually get done giving out all the scholarship money at around June. So i took the ACTs again. I think i did good enough to get a full scholarship. Wish me luck :-)
I got a full scholarship for Maryland Eastern Shore.. just have to pay for books. Penn State gave me in-state tuition, but I'll still have to come up with 9000. North Carolina State gave me a good finanical aid package, only 8000 would have to come out my pockets. Tuskegee gave me 5000, 40% off room&board, and a 500 dollar voucher for books.
So far I have received a full scholarship to Howard University (TTuition, fees, room, board, and books), a full scholarship plus laptop to FAMU, a $5,000 scholarship to Morgan State, and a couple of other outside scholarships. So I decide to go to Howard U, because even though I got more from FAMU, in my opinion Howard's a better school.
