Ladies: Why do ya want dudes who are older. Not like 1 yo 2 years but like 5 or more? I mean like when ya were 14 and 15 ya thought havin a boyfriend over 20 was cool. Ya do realize that dude was probably a loser in the eyes of his peers. Oh yea if your brother who was 20 was messin with a 15 or 16 year old what would u think?

Aight I see this from both sides...
up until my current relationship, I've talked to guys 4-6 years older than me. At the time of the first one (14me, 18him) i was very mature for my age. The last one(17me, 23him), i still am very mature for my age, and knew what i was getting into.
This is not me thinking "i'm grown", this is me stating fact. NO one, and i mean NO ONE, knows how old I am until I tell them.
HOWEVER, looking back on the situation, makes me think....i may b mature and all that, but since we are compatible, does that mean that I'm mature, or is he immature? Cz if we on the same level now, by the time i get that age i'm so NOT going to be on that level. I'm 17 now, and could IMAGINE talkin to a 14 year old guy. Just no. Y r we on the same level?

I would rather be with a mature guy my own age than someone older than me.(my current status is 17me, 18him) I mean f yall can make it work that's coo, but i'ma always wonder WHY R WE ON THE SAME LEVEL? WHY ARE U NOT GETTING WITH A WOMAN YOUR AGE? CAN U NOT PULL SOMEONE YOUR AGE?
I have learned and grown so much just this first year in college, , when older dudes try to talk to me, i jst wonder...if i've grown this much in a year, imagine how much i will by my last year here. Y do yall not want a mature woman your age?
You can't just sit and make generalizations about every kind of relationship that is like that. Not every women who dates an older man is looking for a man to be her daddy, and not every older man who dates a younger woman is looking for somebody to control. My parents are 11 yrs a part and I know for a fact that my mom wasn't in search of a father figure, and that my dad wasn't some random perv. My parents have been married for the past 30 yrs and they have one of the best relationships I know of. So not everybody who is in a relationship with a person significantly older or younger than them has an alterior motive, even though some do. Some people see age as just a number and are actually attracted they person because of their personality and attraction to that person
I totally agree with you. The majority of men that I've talked to have been older than be, between 3-6 years older. I am now 20 year old and my boyfriend is 24. We are on the same level in every sense. I say, to each his own!! Just as long as it isn't an outrageous age difference. You can't but a age limit on who you love!!!

my best friends parent are like 10 years apart..............
my mom and her forst husband were like 14 years apart i think........
and they only had problems cuz he ended up being crazy..............
but u can't stand on the outside of people's relationships and pass judgement................
it's all about them having preference and you haveing your opinion............
