Litte Boy was a complete Uranium core, while Fat Man was Uranium/Hydrogen. Essentially a test to see which one would have done more damage. Little Boy was more fiery and apocalyptic, whilst Fat Man was much "flashier" (term used loosely), and was actually the more destructive force, but due to underlying circumstances (geographical location and such) it wasn't as devastating. Fat Man = Nagasaki Little Boy = Hiroshima Thunder
