am i the only 1 wit low standards? maybe its cuz my standards were so dayum high that i couldn't fine no mens....... well mine r numero uno like i said b4 no dayum kids
# dos cant smoke(i hate smokers but ironicaly i dated so many)
# 3 at least got his high school diploma at least(my man can b stupid but not a dumb ****)
# 4 nice teeth(i dnt want no men wit teeth lookin like bobby brown's or boby xtina(that poor child inherited her daady **** **** teef))
i thank thats it really if he workin at burger king at least he got a job !!!!
that's funny that I saw this post because I had sat down ealrier today and made a list of all the things I see in the guy that I am with now.....we've got a lot of things to deal with, the main thing right now is making sure that he returns safely from Iraq.
So here are some things:
Now everyone is saying no kids ... i agree that kids can be a problem...not necessarily the kids but the baby mama's attached to them....I can deal with the kids if the situation with the mother is straight. I'm not talking four or five kids but i can deal with one.....I love kids and if I love the man I can deal with a child.
some other things that I have noticed:
-matches my interest in education and learning
-matches my ideals of marriage and family
-matches my educational level (or close to it)
-has the same desire to succeed in life and has a definination of success that matches my own
-has a good work ethic
- kind and considerate
- respectful and thoughtful
-Places God first in his life
- Makes me smile at just the thought of him
- loves me for me
well personally i have pretty high standards b/c i believe that i deserve the best and i wont settle for just any dude cuz i'm worth more than that. i aint like them gurlz who find it a necessity 2 hav a man, and i aint desperate neither. i do pretty well on my own thank you. i believe that God has a person out there for errybody and we just gotta wait on His timing. that's why i ain't in no rush. but in general, the qualities i look for are:
physical: taller than me (pref 5'10" and above), dark (LUV da dark chocolate brothas!), well kept/groomed (SHORT HAIR!!!, sideburns (a bonus), neat fingernails (no biting!), clean clothes, smells good!!), fit (slim/bit thick-all good, tho i prefer slim cuz that's what i am)
personality: good boy, luv da Lord, knows how 2 act (calm/reserved), funny (Lord knows I love to laugh), sweet/considerate (thinks not only of himself), RESPECTFUL, is himself (accepts himself for who he is and doesnt try 2 imitate other folk), happy (no need for a dude 2 bring in bad vibes and mess up my day erryday), ambitious (doesnt settle for anything), dedicated/committed, works hard
and like other ppl said:
-no kids
-brings money 2 da table (da legal way!)
now this dont mean that a dude gotta have ALL these traits cuz in da end all that matters is how u treat me and how u treat urself. if u respect urself and u really love me, then the rest will just fall into place. overall, tho, personality is the most attractive thing about a nikka.
smh...i'm tellin' u some of ya'll gon' be some lonely people if ya'll stick to some of these standards??? Ex. Sideburns...WTH? I guess I need to add No chest hair 2 my list also :roll:
~ High school diploma ( college in not for everyone)
~ A Job ( hell if imma get up erryday while u stay home and keep me updated on Maury)
~ Respect ( you can't love me if u don't respect me)
~ Sense of humor ( I stay laughin' so u can't be a hornball and tell me 2 be nice all the time)
See, we should clone yo ****...cuz some of these other gullz want too much for too little. They wanna man with a college degree, goals, money, working on another degree, money, fine as hell with abs of steel, money, a nice car, a big nice place to stay, big feet, big hands, big d!ck, respects his mama, spiritual, a lot of money, treat her stankin **** like a queen, money...... Come on now, lets be real.
WHAT :roll: Ion givadayum about what everybody else looks for in a mate standards wise!!! It's my mate and my dayum OPINION!!! I could have said no fat boys but then u would have took offense 2 that. Anyway, fugg having all this money and a car if yo **** can't read ( how da hell u gon' know when the ****requires maintenance) A diploma is a MUST who gives a dayum about a nugka w/ big hands? he might just be some country nugka that was born late...no go that way b4 u make me 4get i'm a child of gawd!!! :arrow:

i want someone who is gonna respect me and love me for me with all of my flaws. Most people just wanna take the good and forget about the bad but its not healthy
