I wanna go Au Natural

I applaud you Megan for making the BIG CHOP! I haven't gotten the confidence that I want yet to do the same. It's just a matter of me stop being a baby and just doing it. I've gone to nappturality.com, I like what I saw and I took in the tips that it gave. I still want to talk to some people who've gone natural, you know the transition and what not. i cut my hair about 6 months ago and it was about the same length as yours, megan. it grows FAST. i cut mine as a way to get closer to my heritage. i am african-american and i felt like i wanted to actually acknowledge the african part of that hyphen and for me that meant i couldn't continue to think that straight hair was the only way to be beautiful. (that's not all i did and am doing but it's off topic). anyway, for most, that's not the deal. i say whatever you do, make sure it's you.
