Alright, here it is:
Do you have a tatoo or a piercing?
How Many?
Describe your tat.
Do NOT describe your piercing (thanks-wink).
I want to know because a few of my Summer College Interns have them and I think/belive that I should not be able to see them in my professional workplace. I gotta say my black interns may have them but I don't see them. I am treading lightly cause I don't want no reverse discrimination allegations put on me by my white interns. Legal and Personnel think I am being challanged by them. They done did some other foul stuff. It's just a matter of time...
Anyway...
Add what age you were. I know legal age and all that but somehow ya'll get that ink...
I have 3 piercings...
1 in each of my ears
and 1 in my tongue
i actually want a nose ring
like a very very small stud
i'm not really big on tats
if i were to ever get one
i would probably get one on the back on my neck or something
I got a question for you? What do you guys think about letting the ear (I gotta emphasize I'm just talking ear) piercing thing be a rite of passage instead of getting it done when girls are very little.
I mean letting it be one of the decisions a little girl can look forward to making herself when she's 12 going into the teen years? I'm interested in what you guys think...
Getting tatoos and body piercings were my way to rebel against my parents as a teenager (Im 28 now). I was a good student and I never got in trouble so I figured Id show them by getting a big Tiger on my back...not very well thought out...didnt really consider that I may one day need to wear a formal dress and that tiger doesnt always go well with my $500 BCBG dresses... lol
At least they are tasteful and luckily have never hurt me in my career....
5 tatoos - upper back (age 18), lower back (18), left arm band (19), right forearm (20), and stomach (24)
Nose ring, tongue ring, and **** ring removed in 2000 in preparation for corporate america
And I think all little girls should have their ears pierced when they arent afraid of the pain and the parents can take care of the piercing to make sure it doesnt get infected. My daughter, like me, had her ears pierced at 3 months. What I dont approve of, however, is piercing little boys ears....that should be reserved for the teens if that is what he chooses to do...
Just my opinion.
