And for the simple fact that you say you wouldnt want your daughter doing it basically implis that you dont care as long as it aint your own out there shakin **** **** for no n*ggas. People tend to say that alot, but those women are also somebodys daughter, sister, aunt, neice, whatever....so if you wouldnt wanna see your own out there like that why would u support someone else's being out there in the same manner.
Yup I have to agree. Now with Rod's screenname, I cant say I'm offended by his screen name, cause whatever, it's the internet...ppl can have whatever tha hell they want as a screenname. But as far as ppl's siggys, I too, have to skip past some because it's kinda disrespectful...I got 2 nephews and I don't even want them watchin videos like Tip Drill and others because to me it's sooo disrespectful. I think its not right that men say "well nobody's making her do it" but at the same time, you're not pulling her aside and saying "look, sista, you don't have to disrespect yourself like this." You seem to be implying that every woman who decides to participate in a music video or performs in a strip club is a hoochie. Although in your mind this is the stereotype, this is not so. For many women, this is a starting point for the entertainment industry. Some women are not qualified to do skilled labor, on top on the fact that they are women and are seen as not as productive as males by many employers. Stripping and dancing in videos is a better route than prostitution, yet still it allows for them to gain a means of income.
Would I want my daughter doing it, no.
Can I hate on those who have no other choice? no
this is where the **** comes in. these women feel that they can't do anything else for income so they are being taken advantage of. no one ever says these women are being forced although they might feel forced by circumstance.
