Simon Jason Brown.... Simon-I just looked it up. It means hearkening or listening. I don't know why I got named this. I think my father named me this I'm not sure tho. Jason- It means healer. I'm pretty sure my mother named me this cause she always told me that it meant healer when I was growin up. Brown- That's the fam name. For some reason I was never called by my first name. My family been callin me Jason since the birth. I didn't start goin by Simon until H.S. I am ok with it, but I really would rather be called Jason or my nickname which is J...creative huh.

Deidre-My mom wanted to give me a name that not many other black girls had, and she liked Deirdre, an Irish name (that unfortunately means sorrow) but she dropped the R in the middle and there, u have it, Deidre. Michelle---well originally I was born Deidre Roxanne...but my father hated Roxanne (thank God!) and so my mom changed it to Michelle, which is the same middle name as hers. My father was still kinda mad about my middle name, because he saw it as my mother naming me after her but he got over it. So I'm Deidre Michelle Hawkins (since my parents are married) and no one ever spells my damn name right!

My first name is a tribute to my godmother Elizabeth (Lizeth) my first middle name, my mom heard at a wedding and had to have it (Charleta) My second middle name, my mom wanted to name me after herself (Pamela) so she changed it a little and it became Tarnella (silent R)

Named after my pops Clayton - Town on the Clay bed, old germanic name. . . coincidentally, my father was named because they'd just completed a house on top of a claybed the year he was born. My middle name has no literal meaning, and I don't know what it means.

nah it's not...in my entire 19 years of living, I've met 2 other girls here in Cleveland with my name, both black. Funny thing is, my mom wanted to give me a white girl's name but I have yet to meet a white girl with the name Deidre

My parents were naming me Zena up until the moment they saw me. They said I looked too light-skinned to be a Zena and they didnt want to name me that anymore :???: Dont even ask what they meant by that. Anyways she named me Brett, after some comedienne named Brett Sommers... She said she always thought it was a cute name for a girl. It means gifted
