Okay what i don't get is why do men try to impress some ladies by playing a lot of rap music on a date? Should a male play music such as Musiq, Floetry, and Jaheim or 50, diplomats, Nas on the first date?
I think it all depends on the mood...and what type of music that person prefers to listen too...But me I think I would prefer some music thats gonna get me crunk at first...then towards the end of the night...I wanna hear some mellow r&b...mostly R.Kelly
It depends on who im with and if im really feelin him. If its time for him to get the hell out then its gonna be **** silent and im turnin on Jay leno.....But if im not ready for him leave then i would play some Floetry...Getting Late, Maxwell-Whole damn CD, Blackstreet-Think about you, Avant-read your mind, and Def some Mr. Biggs
*mik suprised sosa hasn't said anything in this topic*
To be real....first date or no first date I'm gonna be me and bump what I usually bump in my whip.....if I feel like hip hop then I'm gonna play hip hop......sometimes a bro likes a lil R&B.....so I'm gonna play that.....if she has a particular preference and doesn't want to hear one then I would respect her wishes and try to accomodate her....but I'm not gonna play no R&B to try to enchance tha vibe in hopes to get tha yonie......now if we chillin at tha rest....thats a whole different story......I might be thinkin wit that head that doesn't think of my rhymes
I would want something that shows my taste. It helps a guy get to know me. Because I'm a musician, my music and my God are my life and my man needs to know that.
I have to agree with you...there is nothing worse than **** silence.... :x I absolutely hate that! If it's like a casual friendship thing, I can see any type of music being okay, but for a romantic date, I think he should go on and make the slow jamz CD...it's more romantic!!
