When we read about all the atrocities and crimes against humanity committed in Iraq, no matter how much we can point the finger at Bush, Condoleezza and the like, the one's who actually carry out these dirty deeds are the troops. The only heroes worthy of note are those who develop a conscience, see their real mission for what its worth and quit the armed forces of the United States. It is the largest ****organization humanity has ever seen. It will be a beautiful day when soldiers, en masse, just up and quit that hideous organization.

The American military, from top to bottom is a hideous blight on our planet. There are no innocents in this massive killing machine. There's no 'honour' in volunteering for the worlds largest ****organization, now under the command of the deceitful, criminal cabal led by George W. Bush. American soldiers are well trained to ****, and obviously, to torture, and they go off to Iraq all of their own 'free will." They know that they will ****, and that they may die. There will not be any "honour," or "glory" for these stupid youngsters who continue to volunteer themselves for 'duty' in Bush's appalling adventure. These soldiers, including the 2000 ****, by taint of their volunteer status, are each personally responsible for the murder of 100,000 innocent Iraqi's.
True, there are several heroic, courageous and righteous American soldiers, -namely Brandon Hughey, Jeremy Hinzman and others who have revolted against the criminal, inhuman behaviour they were expected to participate in. When will all those 'Gold Star Families' start recognizing that these are the only true heroes coming out of the USA military? The idea that you can "Support the Troops" and be against what they do in the world is simply irreconcilable. The ****mastermind of their deaths says exactly the same thing every day: "We've lost some of our nation's finest men and women in the war on ****," Bush said. "Each of these patriots left a legacy that allowed generations of their fellow Americans to enjoy the blessings of liberty."

your thoughts?
That's because the civilian population feels that they have to defend themselves as well, by any means necessary. I think it's just more complex than most of us make it seem.
Damn, they've BEEN having to do that. Did you think the Revolutionary War and the Civil War were just fought for pointless reasons. Vietnam was bad, a situation where worst came to worst. There are still millions of people suffering from the like injustices of 150 years ago, yet people want to act as if that the end of slavery was the end of all injustice done in the world.
**** all you military heads
you have CHOICES
NOBODY forces you to sign up
even poor heads have choices
so they deserve what they get over there
period
im not a millitary head...i just believe that some people dont go to war to go to war and be in the army. I support the people that go there to better their situations
u can better your situation by doing a lot of other things besides signing your life away to uncle sam and killing people who did nothing to you or your family
**** all you military heads

NOBODY forces you to sign up

How old are you? Why do you seem so sheltered and close minded because you definitely are living life with shutters over your eyes yet surely you would disagree with the aforementioned because of that. Its apparent that you have very distorted insight into the actual workings of the world and why things are they way they are.
Anybody who has ever had the pleasure of speaking to a recruiter knows that they present the military on a silver platter and to alot of inner city or just poor folk (of all shades) who don't know whats going to happen in their lives post high school, the military seems like not only a feasible option but often is the ONLY option they have.
Sure you could say they should have gotten good grades and school etc etc and they wouldn't have had to worry about that but they truth is that isn't the case for everybody.
I know a couple of people who signed up who had know clue what they were getting into (thye thought they did and even though life was crazy, many didn't know a war of this magnitude and length was on the horizon). Its not like the majority of these people really want to put their life on the line and take the lives of others. The majority of the people in the armed forces are not few people who want to be in the military just because its for them. Many didn't even plan on seeing actual combat and thought they would serve within the military in some other capacity.
Nonetheless, even if i don't support the whole war, I definitely support the troops. You know why... because they are my cousins, friends, and my peoples cousins, brothers, and friends. These are people who joined because they thought they would be fighting us and our freedom/well being and things didn't turn out the way the expected but they are stuck now and have to do whatever the higher ups say or the face penalties that will affect them the rest of their life.
Its bad enough they go through what they experience but the last thing they need are the people they signed up to protect to turn their backs on them and especially say they deserve to die if they do.
To say they deserve what they get over there is like me saying i think you deserve a bullet in your head because I defintely don't agree with half the mess you say on here (but that isn't the case... i don't wish that on anybody, or think anybody deserves that unless they are **** or something).
But anyway, Karma is very real... and seeing that we are all young sooner or later we'll need them in some capacity and I wonder what people will be saying about our military then.
To each their own tho.. thats just my 98 cents.
hell...war is war...
if you think that was torture, you should have seen what those cats in WWII did...
i support the troops, but i no longer support the war. i'm not saying that i don't support thier mission, but i just don't dig the cats that sent them over there and their reasons for it, and i also believe that they are not doing thier best to win this war and to bring our soldiers home...
nick vieux, out.
