I want a tongue ring very badly. I've wanted one since forever. The only reason I haven't gotten it yet is my mother. She's not into that abd I know if I do it she'll flip. Now as soon as I turn 18 I"m getting it done and I don't care what anybody thinks. And if you really want it you should feel the same way. Altho I have to admit the way you carry yourself does have alot to with how you're portrayed. So if you're that worried just carry yourself like a lady at all times. Some of the other ladies(and gentlemen-I'm not sure if there were any cuz I didn't read the whole thread) gave some good pointers too. If you want it get it. Forget everybody else.
I have my tongue pierced. But that does not define anything about who I am and what I do. I got mines because I just wanted one, kinda like the same reason someone gets a tattoo, because they think it's cool.
I'm the last person on earth people would expect to have a tattoo (i.e. the "nice" , smart girl), much less a tongue piercing.
People are gonna think what they want to, so I could care less what some person "thinks" I do because I have a tongue ring. They don't know me, so it doesn't even matter.
YESTERDAY WAS MY B-DAY (JULY 15) I TURNED 18 :!: (HAPPY B-DAY TO ME ) I GOT MY TONGUE PIERCED LIKE I SAID I WAS GOING TO DO :!: IT DIDNT REALLY HURT, IT WAS LIKE A PINCH LIKE OL' GYRL SAID EARLIER WHEN HE GOT DONE I LOOKED IN THE MIRROR AND WAS LIKE OHH...MY GOODNESS I CANT BELIEVE I ACTUALLY GOT MY TONGUE PIERCED I WAS SO HAPPY AND I LOOK CUTE WITH IT MIGHT I ADD :wink: :wink: NOW MY TONGUE IS SWOLLEN AND IT DOENT HURT AT ALL :!: I JUST GOT TO KEEP ICE ON IT, WASH MY MOUTH OUT WITH LISTERINE EVERYTIME I DRINK SUMTIN THAT ISNT WATER AND ALSO WHEN I EAT 8) RIGHT NOW I AM EATING CHICKEN STRIPS AND FRIES :arrow: ITS KINDA HARD B/C I HAVE TO CHEW ON ONE SIDE OF MY MOUTH..........GOTDAMNIT I JUST BIT THE BARBELL :cry: :x AND IT DIDNT FEEL THAT GOOD.OH..WELL :?
3 HRS. AFTER I GOT MY TONGUE PIERCED I WENT TO A CLUB IN NASHVILLE CALLED ****. THERE WAS A LOT OF PEOPLE TALKING TO ME AND THEY ASKED ME WHY I WAS TALKING FUNNY AND I TOLD THEM THAT I JUST GOT MY TONGUE PIERCED AND I SHOWED THEM THEY SAID IT WAS CUTE :!: :!: EVEN THE MEN WAS SAYING IT WAS CUTE, NEITHER ONE ASKED ME ABOUT GIVING HEAD SO PEOPLE DONT WORRY ABOUT WHAT OTHERS THINK OF YOU :!: WHATEVER MAKES YOU HAPPY DO IT :!: :!: :wink:
ALSO WHEN YOU GET YOUR TONGUE PIERCED AND YOUR TONGUE SWELLS UP FORGET ABOUT TALKING AS GOOD AS YOU WAS BE 4 :lol: ITS HARD **** HELL TO SAY WORDS THAT START WITH A S. BELIEVE ME YOU WILL BE SPITTING ALL OVA THA PLACE TRYING TO TALK :lol:
I have had my tongue pierced for 4 yrs now. It didn't hurt when I got it done. My tongue was swollen for a couple of days but that was it. Once guys see that I have my tongue pierced they automatically think that I am "fresh". I just let them know that I am not like that, and if thats what they are looking for they can go somewhere else. I sometimes forget that I have my tongue pierced. I am so used to it.
