Yes, I am bold to say that they aren't beneficial. I'm bold to say that they are only social clubs. Churches are beneficial to society. When you have churches that go into the inner cities and help revive a whole community that is when you make an impact! People like Oprah Winfrey and Bill Gates are beneficial to society when they donate billions to help people. They aren't apart of any Greek organization and they are making a bigger impact. So if the Greek organizations really want to be beneficial instead of hosting a bunch of parties, step shows, and other "social" events, they need to take their chapter and national dues and give to local churches or organizations like Feed the Children, who are
actually making an impact in this world! I'm just bold to say what people are actually thinking about these Greek orgs and are afraid to say it. Including the ones who are Greek. Hey, lets be real here and not have your head stuck in the clouds. I'm not deceived when it comes to the Greek culture. It is all social. It has it's positives because you meet friends that you will have for a lifetime. So it has it's benefits and it isn't all together negative. You have to look at the pros and cons of anything you join and not just go with the flow and not question things. That will make you a close minded individual.
