Let it ALLLL Out Class of '08 Posted on 10-28-2007
Jamaican Shawty

My fellow class of 08er's HOW ARE YALL FEELING???? Happy, relieved, stressed, worried, blank, confused..??? I know I for one thought this year was going to be the easiest year of my high chool career but.....I WAS WRONG . Its not even about the course load but the continuous preparation for college from the pressures of the standardized tests (ACT & SAT) to the anticipation of the applications already sent and if we are making the right choices in our pursuit of our post secondary education. So this is the spot to let it all out every drip drop of how your feeling right here and those who did early application submissions let us know where you got accepted and where you most definitely know you are going.

I dunno what to let out! Am I stressed? Not really. Classes killing me? Not at all. Stupid research paper\senior project.. Grr. That angers me, yes lol... May 29th = Graduation. Now what's irking me... Making my decision. I've been accepted to: Morehouse, Fort Valley, Tuskegee, Auburn, Univ. Florida, Embry-Riddle Full ride to Tuskegee. NROTC to Morehouse. Full ride to Fort Valley. A little money from Embry Riddle. But here's where I stand.. 1) Univ of Florida 2) Morehouse + Ga Tech = 5 years, 2 degrees. Math\Comp Engineering. 3) Fort Valley + Tech = Same. I wish Morehouse wasn't in Atlanta b\c I'd be there sooooo fast. I really want to leave home. BAD. I figure I'm going to base my decision on job placement. Once I find out which place gives me the best chance of working < 6months after graduation, I'll be ready to make a move.. Its all out!

My cousin was in this program. It seems like a no-brainer to me; you graduate with 2 degrees from two different schools in less than half the time? I'd do it if I were you...

yeahh i'm in the same boat as you ; i kept on wondering..okay soo wat happens after ur fafsa has been processed but i researched and asked around to my teachers. fafsa use's ur SAR, either sent electronically or by mail to evalute ur financial aid. around april and may, the colleges send you an "award" letter basically telling you if they are awarding you money to pay for ur expenses [ie: room & board, tuition..] and its paid through grants, work-study, loans, etc. i think i answered ur question ?
thanks..now thats the part that I understand the part that I have a problem with is that some of us just recived our acceptance letters. While some of us havent recived any letters at all yet. For the people who have gotten their letter housing apps are due...I know for one of my schools the deadline for housing is April but if I have not recived my financial aid yet how do I know if I should attend.
