Things men and women will never understand about each other Posted on 09-20-2004

IN GENERAL.....What are some things that men and women, particularly black men and women, will probably never understand about each other, or never agree with each other about? Just a few: Women about men: -The double standard (men doin a lotta girls is a ****, girl doin a lotta guys is a hoe) -Why we enjoy video games -Our fascination with car stereo systems Men about women: -The white shoes after Labor Day -Why y'all just don't get along and always talk negative about each other -Why the hell y'all have so many shoes, even though dudes barely pay attention to them like that

LOL...I've seen some interesting points. Also, one thing I will NEVER get is how excited females get about fuggin celebrities, just because they are famous n all. The main example I will use is Lil Fizz from B2k....dude went to my high school when I was a sophomore and he was a freshman. He was coo, kinda quiet, but definitely didn't get jocked too hard. I remember he wanted to get at my best friend at the time and she turned him down "because he had a shiny nose and he was a year younger." He told people he was in a group that was about to come out but nobody really paid too much attention to it...well a year and some later after he left, B2k is #1 on Billboard and always on BET. All of a sudden, girls at my school had all kinds of posters, they would scream when they saw him, and they were just jockin super super super super super hard. So basically....that just proves how females (IN GENERAL, NOT ALL) will act a whole lot different towards a dude just because he is famous. If you took 75% of the celebrities our age and put em in your HBCU, I bet you may think some were cute but you definitely wouldn't be jockin em like you do.

You should try what I do. When I know that its pointless to even make my point clear whether I'm' wrong or not, then I just stop. I don't say anything. When they pause, I ask if they're done and either go on about my business or continue to act like I'm listening. I can't even begin to act like I give a Sh*t, so I simply don't bother. Makes things less stressful for you and it makes her feel either stupid, or mad because you made her feel stupid.
I said that... But I just wanna applaud this man for stating it yet again and maKing it clear as to WHY men don't do the argue thing. It maKes things less stressfull for us (Especially to those of us who can tune you out), and you end up looKin and or feeling stupid or even mad cuz you get no response. I Love it!!!

Yeah Omarion went there, J Boog went somewhere in the valley, I think Raz B went to Hamilton, and Fizz went to my school, Bishop Montgomery, when he was a freshman. He told me he was at Carson when he was a sophomore, but then he left when they startin goin on tour.

Oh okay. I went to LACES and that's where Marques Houston aka Batman used to go. I saw some old yearbook pics and that was back when he had the whole "immature" & braids thing goin. Later, he popped up a couple of times and chicks got all gah gah. I was like   . And yeah, i heard from Hamilton homiez that Omarion was a hot mess when he was there too. Tried to holla at chicks all the time and they weren't feelin him. But they would say differently now. And oh yeah, Fizz went to my elementary school in Westchester. That was back when he was just known as "Drew". Couldn't stand him back then tho. I think he was just too silly. I really don't remember.
