well, all i have to say is that i went out and got registered last week just so i can vote for kerry. to be honest, i don't know that much about kerry, but i known bush for 4 years and kerry can't possibly be any worse!
but really, i might have to move to canada or something if bush wins again lol.
in the debates kerry said that bush's going into iraq would be like roosevelt going into mexico after JAPAN bombed pearl harbor. after pearl harbor, roosevelt bombed AFRICA!!!!! you go whereever the enemy is.
bush unlike kerry and YOU understand that the war on **** is more than just capturing bin laden and securing our borders. it's about being on the offensive! like bush keeps shoving down our throats, we need to fight these cats over there so that we don't have to fight them here. he may seem repetetive and dull with that message, but it makes alot of sense. and it's not a scar tactic, it's truth...
And there, folks, is the reason why so many people overseas hate Americans. "We" take the idea of eternal vigilance to the extreme and tend to think it is up to us to police the world and inforce our politcs onto everyone. Being on the "offense" against countries who have never done anything to us (as seen many times before in history) will create more animosity and hatred against America than it will good.
There was a viewing party here in London for the Foreign Policy Debates. Before it started there was a discussion. Many Pepole here, both Americans and non-americans, sided with Bush until they watch the debate. Afterwards they realized that bush really had no foreign Policy. To me, that says a lot about his politics. As some of you know i am an independent and i was straddling the fence between Bush and kerry because their domestic policies were so similar. I was one of the many people who were won over by the Foreign Policy Debates. Bush has done a lot of harm to America overseas. It is evident that there will be backlashes to his actions in the future because of the intensity of the hostility of what has been done. I only hope that the next person in office, be it Kerry or whoever, will be able to smooth out some of the damage that has been done. Being her has really opened my eyes and this election, i will not one of the Americans who votes for Kerry becasue he is the least objectionable candidate to Bush. I will be voting for Kerry because my eyes have been opened and I have seen first hand the amount of damage a that has been done.
this is what i'm talking about....
WHO CARES WHAT YOU DAYUM EUROPEANS THINK ABOUT OUR FORIEGN POLICY! F#CK YOU, THIS IS ABOUT US AND OUR SECURITY, NOT YOU! GET A PIECE OF FAT AND SLIDE OFF!
dayum **** with this global test...f**k A GLOBAL TEST! what's with yall **** and this whole "oooh...i hope we don't make the europeans upset with us kick? f**k 'EM!
i don't get a f**k if europeans like us or not....what are they going to do, opt not to send in troops from the UN? the UN can't even handle the situation in ****....don't even let me get started on RWANDA! what has the UN magic army gave us? over 1 MILLION **** black AFRICANS!\
the only reason why russia, germany and france were against invading iraq was because it hurt thier economic relations with saddam!!!
THERE'S NO MAGIC UN ARMY COMING TO SAVE THE DAY IN IRAQ! A UN COMMITMENT IN IRAQ JUST MEANS THAT US TROOPS WILL BE ABOUT 80% OF COALITION CAUSUALTIES INSTEAD OF 90%... and that excludes the causualties of IRAQ TROOPS defending thier own nation...
THERE IS NO DAYUM MAGIC UN ARMY! if there is...then why in the hell aren't they in ****?
and by the way, germany and france have said that they will not commit trooops to IRAQ no matter who's elected...and pollls say theyamericans actually trust BUSH more on foriegn policy! go to usatoday.com...
ok demmeri/bush **** or whatever you go by. Can you read? I was talking about how Americans, like myself, over here feel too. And what they hell is this talk about a magic army? We already know that France and Germany wont come to our aid in this. The reason why they wont come to our aid is because of the way Bush started this. That's what Kerry and others like him havea problem with. This is why i hate getting into political debates with "mental ****" (I stole that phrase from the Republican convention). They curse and get angry and they miss every point you bring up. You have a very myopic viewpoint. Demmeri, I really want you to grow up and see the world the way it really is. That's about the only advice I can give to you. You talk about other blacks being brainwashed into believeing in the Democratic Party, and i think there is some truth in that. But you, son, have been brainwashed in a different way.
Oh well, it's not like you'll read this anyway, you will probably only take what you want to hear from this and twist it around in your own demented way. So i wont waste anymore of our time.
PS: and for the sake of your future, and your childrens future. You should care what people in other countries think about our country.
AGAIN I SAY...F#CK OTHER COUNTRIES AND WHAT THEY THINK ABOUT US....AND THAT'S NOT THE REASON WHY FRANCE AND GERMANY REFUSED TO PARTICAIPATE....LIKE I SAID, IT BECAUSE IT WOULD HURT THIER ECONOMIC RELSTIONS WITH SADDAM TO REMOVE HIM FROM POWER...(**** FOR FOOD)
...."for your sake and your childrens future....care about what other countries think about us... "
what is this man???
no comment whatsoever...
Well the race is close az it was told 2 be.
Kerry has all these plans
But just like Bush said where and how is he gonna get the money 4 them with boosting up the taxes...
And another thing i'm mad @ B.e.t
They are not being fair in just in the race
All they show is add's bashing bush and so on
If they gone bash one bash the other
Everyone is so quick 2 point out all the bad they claim Bush did but what about the good things he has done.
You never here that.
Nothing wrong with Kerry to much he just not strong enough 4 me. And he has no clear plan ..
So Vote 4 Mr. Flip Flop
Everyone want him 2 be the 2nd Clinton but can anyone tell me how Clinton did a great job. Most Blacks relate 2 him because of the bad things he did in office. Because they know he smoked weed they think he cool. Or because he got head they think he is also cool 4 that. Are those really good values? He had a wife right? And people praise him like he the best thing 2 ever come into the office..
Kerry aint Clinton remeber that when u goto vote.
When you go vote know who and what you are voting for.
Dont do it just because u feel he is not Bush.....
I VOTED TODAY!!!!
It feels good. I sent off my Absentee ballot this morning. I had been waiting to see the domestic policy debates. I wanted to hear Kerry explain where he would get the money for his health care plan. While it sounds ideal, the plan doesnt seem to be feasable. He also never adressed some of the claims that he would tax on investment dividends. That is still my biggest reservation in regards to Kerry. Never-the-less I voted for him today. I am too liberal of a Bi-Partisan to side with Bush in this election. He and I disagree on some VERY big issues and I also don't care for his foreign politics.
Triad, I wanted to respond to your question but i am not sure what you are talking about in reards to blacks wanting Kerry to be Clinton. I also never supported the claim that Clinton was the savior of blacks. I, and many of the blacks I know, are more logical than than to believe that it is simply a "black and white" issue. It is more of an economic issue. Clinton bridged the gap a great deal between the classes. Our Information age economy in this administration does seem to mirror the industrial age econoomy of the 20's (I was hoping that Kerry was going to speak more on that last night). I can understand why the rich support Bush. Bush has done a great deal for the upper class. Hell, if I was rich I might have to put aside a couple of my ethics to increase my wealth as well, so I can't knock their decision. But since I am a member of the middle class I am all for a step toward equalibrium, lol.
Anyway, has anyone else sent out their absentee vote yet?
Yeah and you know he i voted 4 sweetie........
They both have there problems and i'm going 2 side with my side on this one. I catch so much beef at school for being a blk rep. But i really dont care. Sad but true the rich are getting it kinda easy. But they are the ones creating the jobs in the Untied States. So many new spots have been opening up In Michigan Detroit and Flint 2 places hit hard by Factory jobs going away. But with the tax cuts under the bush plan. The downtowns have been revamped and bussiness are opening up all over the place.
People will think what they think but like i said if you are voting for someone vote 4 them because u agree with them. Not just because there not someone else.
^^^^^^ just as i thought . . . .walks away shaking head
shut up...
notice the way she skated around the **** for food gimmick...probably doen't know what it is....
wait a ****...who are you and out of curiousity do you have an english accent?
yea i sent out my absentee ballot the other day and i voted for Kerry. i just think Bush didnt think before he acted. he went to war with Iraq for more personal reason (saddam and his dad). also Bush did mess up our relationships with other countries and we should care because we always want to be the big bad US and demand this and that but right now we arent leading and setting a good example for the rest of the world. we have the strongest army/military but we are spreading ourselves out to much and yes we know that the french and german arent going to step in even if kerry becomes president but this same situation may come up again and we can work on relationships for that time. so all though i dont agree with a global test i do believe that we should get some type of input on certain issues. to run us off to war was just silly. if Bush would have given the inspectors some more time we could have either found out that there werent any wmw or decide to go to war with the rest of the countries. it just makes so much sense (if you get into a fight and you dont want to get hurt do u fight by yourself or jump someone? ) you jump them. one on one may take a while but 5 on one wont. Kerry is all about helping the middle class and no we dont know if he is going to actually help us but i rather someones word to help than someones actions not the help. (but thats just me) also Bush is pushin his religion on people (and im and a strong christian) but not everyone is. so to be president you should be able to govern without your religion being involved. i dont believe in **** but you should have the choice. Bush is against it because of his religion, but not everyone shares that. (the partial birth ban was good though). its just sad people are dying over there, there are troops that dont want to be over there for the reasons that they are over there. its just a lot of bull
