i dont know but i just hate it when people classify everyone of a certain group together. like just because they all believe in the same thing that they are all going to go about it the same way. just because people may have done shady Sh*t like that to you in the past or whatever doesnt mean that Lady-J or anyone else will do the same. but im sure you already know that...you just more than likely decided to forget about it in light of the discussion. i feel lady-j because i am a christian and i also happen to be hot-tempered and reading stuff like this makes me upset also. to have someone knock what i believe partially because of their own personal mishaps. but you know what...its all good. i am kinda glad for this topic because even though i dont agree with alot of what is being said, i am still taking it as a learning experience. and for the record, 1lazynigga, if i happened to know you like that, i wouldn't have stopped talkin to you becuase we have different belief systems. in being a christian myself, i accept people as they are. i may agree with their beliefs but i still admire and respect them as a person....maybe u need to be surrounded by more positive christians instead of the ones that steadily put you down....and dont say that all the ones you do know DO put you down cuz i have a feeling that that is what you are gonna say next and i dont wanna hear that Sh*t :arrow: **officially TOO THRU with this post :arrow: :arrow: **

Gurl u know u comin back!!! And thats where a lot of Christian people go wrong...when they get heated over this type of stuff. Its simply juss folks expressin their opinions. Ya gots ta stay coo calm and collective. So that way, all of yer thoughts get processed! :lol: :lol:

true i mean why get overheated about opinions, because its good to talk about stuff without getting angry, truely unecessary, especially amongst the black community... besides jesus didnt get disciples by being an ****....not that im talking about any of yall trying to convert me :lol: , but christians in general just need to educate better in a more calmer, intelligent way instead of being so judgemental if they really wanted to spread the word ya know

i think its about time we change that, because why cant we as intelligent black students discuss our viewpoints and different cultures in a more intellectual manner so we can learn from each other.??...besides its free speech....i guess to continue on...my religion is spirtuality, it basically believes in everything about christanity except certain things in the bible that seem to contradict itself....i mean ive been buddhist, wiccan, christian and ive studied religions a bit but im not an expert from rastafari, jewish(since my last name is jewish), voodoo, heck even satanic and vampiric religions...note i said studied not practiced :lol: ....but i guess like even though i have been with my current religion for a good while, like talking withother people of those religions i mentioned and interacting with them...like it helped me to not only accept my god but to also not be afraid to question and try to figure out why some things happen instead of just saying "this was done just BECAUSE!!!" ...i mean just like christians who learn about other cultures and study their bible they are the most armed to defend and teach others about their religions ive seen...and i believe my experiences helped me in that way as well...and i think if black people did have more open discussions about their's and others religion we would definently be more educated about dealing with each other..i mean if you think about it if we cant even discuss religion amongst ourselves in a mature manner how can we expect to actually rise up in a UNIFIED fashion as a people now and in the future...i mean, for example, martin was christian and X was muslim but they were still fighting for civil rights just in different manner, feel me??...and i just rambled sooo much damn :?
