Greeks and non greeks when you hear another organization diss another org during a probate. How do you take it?

Like i've said before, people take their letters very seriously. IT IS NOT A GAME. Maybe if u were greek, u would understand why people hold their organization so dear to their heart. Whether it's a D9 org or not, a PROCESS is a PROCESS, and unless u have been thru one...who the hell are u to clown? This forum is not called "Divine 9 fam". It's for ALL greeks to talk amongst themselves and for sincere prospects (notice how i didn't say "GDIs") to get info & maybe a lil help. But even that isn't a requirement.

Well, orgs dissing other orgs doesn't happen that much here @ VSU. Most of the Greeks here get along w/ each other very well. A little bit happens every now-and-then, but nothing major. The only BGLO that does the most dissing are the Sigmas @ their probates. As a spectator, I get excited for some reason, lol. I don't mind the dissing at all, as long as no one gets hurt and whatnot. I don't think that the Sigmas are immature for 2 reasons: The Sigmas always warn the crowd (esp. other fraternities) that the "dissing portion" of the Probate will come up, and that it's a tradition of their fraternity. And 2, it's all in fun!
But one year (Spring '03) the Ques got very **** and decided to rush down the bleacher stairs towards the Sigmas. :o Luckily, the police were there. They asked the Ques to leave, and they did. You should've seen the Sigmas. They were calm when the Ques charged @ them like that. Now, that just shows how immature the Ques were acting that day. Also, the 2 orgs have a little beef anyways on our campus, I think. Finally, dissing does make the Greek Scene more exciting, b/c it's all in fun and entertainment.
