wow ive been gone for a while.... i really wish i would have seen this earlier. from what i read i can agree with everyone a little bit. i can see where this girl is comming from in a way but her approach seems to be a bit wrong.
there is nothing wrong with being confident and knowing your strengths being physical or mental. too much confidence turns into arrogance. In reality everyone gets stared at. it could be because their shoes are tight or their clothes are **** or they a pretty. people stare for all kinds of reasons. thats the only thing i can relate to is people staring... it makes me nervous because im very shy. just because they are staring doesnt always mean they think you are attractive. there is no official definatiion of attractive... it all depends on ones opinion
That's on point. See when females are more humble with there's yet still confident that's attractive to me, but when females think that they are the hit and can get any man I don't even look at them. It seems like a simple glare throws gallons of gasoline in the fire. I'm not directin this towards the author necessarily though. This is more of a general comment.
3.) I hate how I feel like I have to maintain a certain image like makin sure my face looks okay, makin sure that my outfit looks good on me, keeping my eyebrows, finger/toe nails groomed, etc.
If u pretty then u shouldnt have to worry about ya outfit, nails, eyebrows, whatever. **** people can have the flyest outfit on and they hair done. If u got it u got it. U can be pretty in basketball shorts, cold in ya eye, chipped nails, whatever.
you know i also agree with poody... im anti make up because of that reason. Some girls be puttin a whole new face on wit that stuff. i only think its necessary for special occasions to show that u made an effort to go out of your way to look nice. if not just be you cuz it wil come out sooner or later.

Anywho, i have a solution for this whoooole issue. All homegirl needs to do is not shower for a week or so, wear some holey sweatpants, a shirt 5 times your size (don't forget to add a few food stains), be sure not to clean your face (yes, leave all boogers and eye crusts), and be sure to twitch often and walk with a limp in public. I know this is random, BUT I have never heard anybody but my brother call somebody a "doe doe head"....LOL
I kinda see what your point it is with this post...but could it be that you're experiencing these problems not because you are pretty, but rather because of the way you carry yourself or the air you give off? I would say that most people can appreciate an attractive male or female but problems like these arise when these people become enraptured in how pretty or cute or fine they supposedly are and they let that affect the way they operate in the world. Nobody likes anyone who is stuck on themselves. You have to make sure your outer beauty isn't the only thing you present to people, you have to show that there is some substance and modesty beneath as well.
But I can feel you on the point you made about people always pointing out how pretty you are. That happens to me at my internship when I come in and the first thing someone say about me is "She's a really pretty girl". How about a "Wow, that girl is hardworking and efficient"! When you are attractive people are always going to notice but you have to always make the effort to show that your looks aren't the only thing thats going on and that's much more to offer as well....

I got the idea from another topic posted in the forum and thought that some people might have something mature to say on it besides making negative comments about how I'm stuck up.
