As a person who hopes to join a sorority, tell me why you chose your sorority? What is the best aspect of your sorority?

i know what sorority people chose is suppose to be a secret and all dat but damn, why yall chose yall organization gotta be a secret too. I'm pretty sure people can tell why they wanted to be a so and so.
Well, here's the 411...Its not that it is a secret why some of us don't tell why we chose our orgs (obviously there was something in her that brought us to our beloved org). I can not speak for every one else BUT I will tell you the reason why I don't answer questions of the such. MY reason is because I have come to notice that most prospects don't even know why they want to join the org of their choice...either that or they are not quite sure how to put it in words. So what they do is ask greeks why we joined our orgs and use our answer as a blueprint to why they want to join. and sweetie, I JUST DONT GO FOR IT! I want to know from a prospect why they want to join MY glorious sisterhood from their HEART and not some generic sh*t that they put together like a college essay. WHEN ONE SPEAKS FROM THEIR SOUL THE TRUE FEELINGS OF THEIR HEART POUR OUT AND ENABLE OTHERS TO FEEL THE PASSION THAT THEY ARE FEELING

Good Point AKATude. I wouldn't have answered in the Motivation thread had Chief Pharoah not been greek. I prefer not to answer(in great detail) when GDIs inquire.

I chose to join this org because I want to give back to my community in the most positive way and I know this brotherhood/sisterhood does exactly that I'm very involved in the community and I see this as a way to build on that along with other things

I was not asking because I wanted to become a greek. In fact, I detest the idea. What I do want to ask is why join a Frat/Soror for reasons that the military would be much more efficient? Parallels and such, is it a stigma or what? My answer would most undoubtedly be: convenience.
