List the qualites in a man that you REALLY look for. If you dont REALLY look to see how good a person he is, dont put it in the list. When you first meet a guy, and you start sizing him up to see what he's like, what do you REALLY look for?

1. If he looks in my eyes when he talks to me instead of other parts of my body.
2. The way he speaks... i love a man who seems to have an extensive vocabulary.
3. The way he carries himself... confident but not arrogant.
His physical characteristics are secondary.
Initially before being introduced the first thing that attracts me to a guy is his smile. Straight and white (not no crooked @$$ butter yellow teeth)!
Once we've been introduced he has to be able to be honest (i hate liars), funny (can't be serious all the times), outgoing (sometimes I can be shy and two shy people together just doesn't work), has goals (has to have plans to do something with his life)
That what I can think of right off hand!
He has to make me laugh
He has to be loyal -- (I rather be dumped than cheated on)
He can't have kids OR warrants
He has to be pursuing or already have a certificate...doesn't matter what, Engineering, post office, fixing VCRs, i don't care if its a 30 hour degree, he HAS to have a piece of paper saying he's good at something and can get a job for it.
Sometimes women (men too) can be a walking contradiction. Out of our mouths come the standards: I want him to be flamboyant yet quiet. That's an oxymoron if I ever seen one, like military intelligence. LOL At least you ladies express your desires because some women don't know what the hell they want. For you who do, great!!! Keep it up and hold true to your standards. I wrote this on another post like this one. Sometimes we don't have a list or the list is abandoned with maturity. Sometimes our lists go out the window from sheer desperation. Sometimes we don't necessarily have a list because we can't explain, that special someone in words.
Be patient, your prince will come. But for those complainin about the man shortage, I wrote this piece for you.
