For me I have received a couplel scholarships from local chapters of frats, and sors, and other various scholarships that will total over $10,000 when it is all said and done. Morehouse is an expensive college, and im still waiting on a fincial aid packet, but they betta offer me some money...lol..because the other colleges I applied to did.
i got a scholarship that pays for my tution and instructional fees...still waitin on state to send me my financial aid packet.....hopefully i'll know somethin next week...i still got to pay for books and i dont' have that kinda money yet....

I applied to like 100 scholarships (sorry that's a gross exagerration... maybe 50.) I'm still waiting on the National Hampton Alumni.. that's 10 thou. If I get that one, I'm not applying to anymore...

i got enuff for the first few yrs
-4yr tuition scholarship to CAU
-4yr 1/2 tuition from Dillard
-1000 from alumni @ my high school
-1000 from the superentendent
-700 from Delta Sigma Theta
-500 from Kansas City Association of Black Journalists
And a punk **** 2500 a yr from the University of Missouri-Columbia
hopefully more will come in cuz im broooooke
I recieved a blacks in government scholarship: 500.00
A Greater Kansas City Scholarship: 1,000
A Lincoln University Scholarship: 500.00
And Last But No least My school (Grambling) FUNALLY SENT ME A LETTER TELLING ME I RECIVED MY FOUR YEAR FULL RIDE!!!!!
I still haven't recieved my Financial Aid Package
