jacked from another site When we read about all the atrocities and crimes against humanity committed in Iraq, no matter how much we can point the finger at Bush, Condoleezza and the like, the one's who actually carry out these dirty deeds are the troops. The only heroes worthy of note are those who develop a conscience, see their real mission for what its worth and quit the armed forces of the United States. It is the largest ****organization humanity has ever seen. It will be a beautiful day when soldiers, en masse, just up and quit that hideous organization. http://www.uruknet.info/pic.php?f=f18.jpeg (warning graphic) The American military, from top to bottom is a hideous blight on our planet. There are no innocents in this massive killing machine. There's no 'honour' in volunteering for the worlds largest ****organization, now under the command of the deceitful, criminal cabal led by George W. Bush. American soldiers are well trained to ****, and obviously, to torture, and they go off to Iraq all of their own 'free will." They know that they will ****, and that they may die. There will not be any "honour," or "glory" for these stupid youngsters who continue to volunteer themselves for 'duty' in Bush's appalling adventure. These soldiers, including the 2000 ****, by taint of their volunteer status, are each personally responsible for the murder of 100,000 innocent Iraqi's. True, there are several heroic, courageous and righteous American soldiers, -namely Brandon Hughey, Jeremy Hinzman and others who have revolted against the criminal, inhuman behaviour they were expected to participate in. When will all those 'Gold Star Families' start recognizing that these are the only true heroes coming out of the USA military? The idea that you can "Support the Troops" and be against what they do in the world is simply irreconcilable. The ****mastermind of their deaths says exactly the same thing every day: "We've lost some of our nation's finest men and women in the war on ****," Bush said. "Each of these patriots left a legacy that allowed generations of their fellow Americans to enjoy the blessings of liberty." __________________________________________________ your thoughts?

you can't disagree with something and then support the people who are DOING what you disagree with it makes no sense

I have a question: How can you disrespect the military when they're protecting you? (and actually answer the question please with some logic other than the over worked "they're attacking us because we're in their country") I think I'm the only person in this forum who is conservative and I feel the need to represent my own...not republicans (I hate them)...but the true conservatives who love our country and a moral way of life... First of all, if you want to disagree with our prescene in Iraq it is totally fine...if you are a CARD CARRYING PACIFIST...if not you better find some logic...every time I here someone say this is all america's fault i want to pull my hair out and then kick them in the face... The reason I say find some logic is that all of it backs the war...ask your self: Question 1: Were Osama Bin Laden and other Islamic extremist groups just playing around with 9/11? Or are they planning to do it again? Answer 1: No, they didn't just do it for kicks, and they are planning to do it again. If you read between the lines of all the media reports you'll figure out that the only way to truly protect ourselves from another attack is to stay in Iraq. Since of course we can't flush out the terrorists who live in our country because of laws made by our America-loving liberal lawyers. Question 2: Why is it that America isn't the only country or ETHNIC GROUP being attacked? Answer 2: Because places like New Delhi and Paris are not ISLAMIC STATES. These extremists don't give a damn whether or not they're White American Christians! THEY ARE KILLING ANYONE WHO ISN'T MUSLIM! DOES THAT RING A BELL! HMMMM....LET'S THINK KIDS...HOW ABOUT **** AND THE NAZIS? THEY WANTED TO **** ANYONE WHO WASN'T OF THE SO-CALLED **** RACE...the enemy captured and **** Nepalese, Pakistanis, Buddhists, Koreans, etc. etc...bet ya didn't see those beheadings on CNN did u? that should be enough right there but i know you don't believe me...thats alright...when somebody wants to behead you maybe you'll see...you wanna **** and moan about our servicemen and women being in Iraq when they're protecting our way of life...to be able to walk down the damn street...****...don't disrespect our troops... if u wanna refute what im saying i want to see factual evidence...i just can't believe the nerve of some people...

No one made anyone sign up for the military, but they did. No one made me sign up, but i did, reason being why i did and why most people did, is because they look at it like this, If something were to happen on our own grounds would you be prepared to take care of your family. would you have the proper training to know how to handle a situation if it arose in your own backyard? Ghetto hood tactics arent enough to protect your family when you have the enemy in your own back yard. NOW i am no longer in the military because of health reasons, but would i go back yes... but the problem that alot of the younger people that sign up in the military is, they arent sure what jobs are availible to them.. they take the first job that their recrutier offers them. A lot of the times for young men that job is infantry.. Why??? because they werent smart enough to study for their ASVAB(Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Test) so they go in there right out of highschool thinking that they are going to do something that they arent.. More times than less they never know what they are getting themselves into until they are already in. And its not that easy to get out of the military.(honorably) So you can support the troops, and the military without supporting their mission. Because as hard as it is for us to watch whats going on Over there, its harder to be over there. My best friend is doing his second tour in Iraq. and i support him, because he needs that emotional support.

^^^that's an interesting perspective...my father got out of the navy when I was younger but i still remember what it was like when he left for months at a time...ive lived in a military city all my life and i live next to a base now...it seems like all of my friends have at least one family member in the armed forces right now...ive got a few male friends who want to join after college too...i just don't understand the disrespect some people are giving them...its not only to the servicemen and women but to military families as well...

Change, you act like the government is really stupid. What you know now is only a fabrication of what they want you to believe.
