Well girls I got in, that was step one. Now its just paying for it, just found out my mom blew my college money away on stupid stuff . So now IDK but I didn't do all of that work to give up now, I am going TO Spelman. Besides I know where God wants me to be. So just keep me in your prayers please. Did anyone one recieve their financial aid packet yet, and if so how much longer after they received their acceptance. Is it a substantial amount or something very small? I really hope they send it before the first. Have fun at Spelboud for those going. O and choklatbunny why do you want to be one of the first 550?
Scholarships, grants, loans, and prayers will have to get me through my first year.

And for those that don't have a roommate how about you state what you think are pros and what you think are cons about yourself.
MariaBR when I went to like a spelman question and answer seminar thing they said they only have 550 spots open for the class of 2013...and that it is on a first come first served basis

*I'm not loud
*keep things in order
*respect to others and their property
*don't smoke or drink...so i won't be smelling like it
Cons
*talk in my sleep sometimes...I may snore but once in a while LOL
*when I'm upset I like to listen to loud music
*may not share certain things because I might not get it back

O wow I didn't know that, I really want to go but at the same time with this economy I can't afford to be 150,00 in the hole. N I don't want to have to drop out my sophmore or junior year becasue I can't pay. Why are they only letting in 550 freshman this year. And besides spelman is notorious for giving out lousy financial aid packets.
my dad doesnt want me to take out loans he just would like me to stay in his range...he just wants me to go to state school...so like an average of like 25,000 a year...so i have to see if i'll be taking out any loans...im going to keep applying for scholarships..A LOT...probably everyday do ones that i qualify for

I hope to see some of you girls at Spelbound !!!! I'll be n LLC II Residence Hall and my hostess is Ms. Lacey Reddix.
