Whats up CNels? I did not take any picture at the battle. However, I thought the event was well organized and supported. I will definitely purchase the video. Which performance did you like the best? I thought Tn State University Cousin (Texas Southern University) did an excellent job. Also, I enjoyed TU, VSU, NSU, and BCU.
How did you like the suprise guest (Young Joc & Gorilla Zoe & The Dream)? I thought they did good.
Yeah I'm thinkin I might purchase the dvd also.My top 3 would be TxSU, VSU and BCU, but all of them were good. Next time I'll know to get seats on a lower level, the sound wasn't great up top. I will definitely check out your blog. I am not sure what was going on with the sound system. I attend the ATL football classic (TN State VS FAMU) every year and I have sat in the upper level. The sound system is normally not an issue, but this year it was muffled. However, when The Dream performed they added speakers and he sounded clear.
I think it might have been an alumnus of that band or a part of the band staff. The band was either playing "He Proposed To Me" by Kelly Price or "Let's Get Married" by Jagged Edge when he did it. He got down on one knee, pulled out the ring and she said yes! Of course she started crying
