This was an example of past new members introducing themselves in ONE thread... Now you can introduce yourself on a separate thread and get feedback from other members in response to you joining the forums...
So feel free to browse the pages of this thread, but in order to introduce yourself to the "cafe" submit a new thread under the "Welcome New Members" forum...!

Hello Good People!
I am brand new. I had sent this site to my son and all his friends at the various HBCU's a few months ago. I have lurked. Today, I decided to join in.
Yup, I am a mom. My hubby and I have the one incredible college son and we "parent" about 50 of his friends. I have learned lots from this site yet I have lots to ask...stay tuned.
I unfortunately did not do my undergrad, grad or doctorial work at an HBCU
Between our son and his friends who are scattered at several of the HBCU's, I am "versed" with it!
I look forward to the fun and the knowledge!
