Yes i have been waiting for this moment for so long...and for them to keep me waiting this long was so stressful, but now that this pressure is off my shoulders i feel so much better...i just hope i am one of the first 550 people to send my money in...did any of you gals register for spelbound already???
What happens if ur not one of the first 550 people?? cause i kno for me (and a bunch of other girls that i've been talking to on facebook) we're not sending money to them until we get some type of scholarship. please let me know

I go tinvited to join but couldnt join cause im not a math or science major. ic alled them about it anyway and they said you have to apply and get admitted into the program so the earlier you send it off is the better cause not everyone gets in. 10 grand a year u better get on that
Well girls I got in, that was step one. Now its just paying for it, just found out my mom blew my college money away on stupid stuff . So now IDK but I didn't do all of that work to give up now, I am going TO Spelman. Besides I know where God wants me to be. So just keep me in your prayers please. Did anyone one recieve their financial aid packet yet, and if so how much longer after they received their acceptance. Is it a substantial amount or something very small? I really hope they send it before the first. Have fun at Spelboud for those going. O and choklatbunny why do you want to be one of the first 550?
The majority of financial aid is given in LOANS like 20,000+ you will be lucky if you get spelman to cover room + board in grants and stuff i got accepted in december and got my package in march but i think they will give it to just accepted students faster

Is it true that Spelman receives the largest endowment out of the HBCU's and they are just being stingy with the money?
YEs that is true..if they r not the most endowed they're in the top 3. its not that they dont have it to give i hear that they don't give it cause they know girls will go regardless. Spelman is palying mind games...lol

I got in and it wud suck if i got into their honrs program and cant go cause of money (i kno this is like my 10th post in a row...lol i havent been here in a while and im reading a bunch of posts and replying) anyway i dont c y u wouldnt b able to it show a good initiative on ur part. u kno wats funny I havent taken not 1 AP class and i got in. but the honor scourses at my school r pretty challengingso mayb they looked at that..who knows

No Ma'am !!! LLC II is the room I'll be staying in during Spel-bound !!!! I'm trying to increase my ACT score (keep getting 23 for some reason) so I can get into their honors program. I HOPE TO SEE YOU AT SPEL- BOUND !!!!
