LOL..yea u have to be a math or science major. did u get the brochres.pamphlets?? The enitre program is focused on math/science and im the exact opposite myself...political science major. I would definitle call spelman and question them just to be sure but im like 99% sure(from what i read in the thing they sent me) its for science and math ppl.
Yeah, I just got it... I will be an English major... sooooooo yeahhhhh I hate science and math with a burning passion.

Courtnie: Yeah I understand you. I really do not want to take out a loan, but I didn't receive any scholarships like you so either way I would be taking out a loan to go to school. My dad wants me to go to school in state, but even if I did I would it would still come out to be around 100 grand. If not I would have to go to a small local school, and I'm sorry but I want my degree to count for something. I think I just might go because either way I am going to be in major debt, why not get a great education from an institution that is incredible.

Well if your going to have to take out major loans anyway i would definitely say take them out for spelman. I called the financial aid department at spelman today and it seems like im going to howard. They said that their scholarships have been mailed and anyone getting a scholarship would have already received an email telling them so. And since i didnt i think im gonna go to howard. I love spelman but no school is worth the debt if i dont have to take it. Did they emntion anything about scholarships at Spelbound anyone??

When I got home I told my mama that Harvard, Vanderbilt, Yale, and Princeton can all off me full-rides and Spelman not offer me a dime and I would still go to Spelman and take out a loan, because it is worth the experience... so all in all....I FREAKING LOVED IT!! We had two parties, the talent show turned into a huge party, and then when we got back to the dorm everybody was still hype so we brought out the boom boxes! lol Were you there?
