Are there any AKA's here Posted on 01-18-2003
In Rod We Trust

Hello my name is Pink and I wanted to know what to do if there arent any aka's at your school. Well I attend Lincoln Univ in Pennslyvania and the chapter here is the Epsilon Nu chapter but all the aka's graduated and there are alot of educated females interested in this organization that started all the other ones so what should me and the other female students do to get them back.

if you are interested in being DROWNED and being hazed all dayyy.. then you should join AKA (hey that rhymes) However, if you seek, TRUTH, SISTERHOOD, AND HONEST-EEYYY, the perhaps you should conisider DST (hey that rhymes) Also, if you wish to be loyal, graceful, and generally GREATER... then perhaps consider Zeta Phi Beta (gee that rhymes). If you feel that lying, drowing, and deciet is a NO-NO... they maybe u should be a S..GEE..RHO (that rhymes too..damn i should be a poet) shout out to all the drowners of the Any Kinda Animal Sorority Inc.
Gosh, you're funny!!! Zeta and Greater rhymes perfectly, you're such a genius! Anyway Just b/c it doesn't make the local 5:00 news "guest" doesn't mean it isn't news... All BGLOs have had their moments of turmoil, but what makes us great is the ability to learn from them and move on. I promise Alpha Kappa Alpha will continue to thrive. What happened in California was TRAGIC, but 'skate' vs. 'pledge' and distinctions between members of the same organization based on what people THINK they know is what perpetuates the myth that a person isn't "real" unless they come into the organization a certain way. I'd be a liar to say I felt that way before the situation in Cali, but everybody has their epiphany at some point... and facing the reality that many of our undergraduate chapters would die out (as is the case at Pink's school) served as mine. Hazing is illegal and isn't worth it... too bad folks can't make a distinction between process/pledging and hazing... But that's neither here nor there.... The key to finding the right organization FOR YOU is to do research. Everything you need to know for now is at www.aka1908.com. Good luck. :-)

damn guest dat was both mean and funny... i take it u are one of the other 3 groups that u gave props too.... i like AKAs.. i know a lot of em, they are generally nice ladies (they look good too).. but then again, most Greeks are know are good people. When I was a little boi, I was mentored by an Alpha.. i thought he was the coolest person in the world... He was a law school student then and is now a successful lawyer... i still look up to him. My uncle is a Kappa, and i think he is one of the greatest men alive.

So do you think it is a good Idea to go to another chapter and become an AKA instead of at your school. Because I go to lincoln univ. (PA) and there arent any aka's there so what should I do.

All I know is that that Anonymous guest definitely would not say any of that sh*t to the Greeks in person. That was very disrespectful.
