boycharm grows weary of this uneventful circle this is a HUUUUGE topic and yet, there aren't many viewpoints given i'm anxious 2 be converted from my stance but yet, my debate history tells me you can't accept a change in policy without an alternative (that was dumbed down of course cuz i'm tired as usual (i need 2 visit hbcu b4 i go 2 work one day)) so rather than discuss how despicable war is i'd rather see alternative options how else could matters be taken care of? how long would it take for us 2 reach an effective application of this option? and what part as an individual do u find yourself taking 2 reach this "ideal"? PREACH 2 ME...because i'm not completely gone (i used 2 be liberal) i just need some shape of a plan or some proof that there is an alternative and not just opposition without solvency

as far as this war on iraq goes, a diplomatic approach probably woulda took just as long as combat is taking. i can only speak to what i see on television and what my brother, who just got back from iraq in early june, tell me and it looks like we gettin nowhere fast in this war. so do i dissagree with war, No, do i disagree with this war hell yea. it seems like a lot of our soilders are being **** over there with no results. when fighting an ideal such as extremism in any form, and you are fighting on the extremist home turf, you are in for a long fight. I applaud everyone over there doing there duty, but i really feel like Iraq could have been handled in a diplomatic manner.
