If you two aren't doing anything wrong, than you are not wrong. BUT I do understand why she would be skeptical about the whole situation. I mean you two were romantically involved. She is a little silly for staying with the guy, but it is her man. If I were you I would just leave him alone.

I didn't read anything outside of what was on page 1 so forgive if I'm redundant but here is my 98 cents.
Basically, I think you are rushin to destruction and I think you need to stop talkin to ole boy. Not because of the girl calling you or any of that. Just for the simple fact that he keeps indicating the type of character that he possess but you look the other way and decide to still talk to him. Sooner or later it will come back to haunt you and please believe that this comes from somebody who knows from experience.
People who can cheat on a spouse repeatedly or just do them dirty particularly one that they have been with for a long time are not good friend material (male or female) and I'm sure you know this (its common sense). They may seem like that but sooner or later you'll realize that if you get too close they will do you just as grimey if not more than the person they are in a relationship with.
You already got screwed by him once, Why set youself up for a second time. Sure you could say that you aren't gonna get that close to dude or whatever so he'd be able to do so, but if thats the case why have him around in your life.
As for ole girl... the calling thing is her issue. If she can't trust her man enough to have female friends she needs to move on regardless of how long she's been with him because she'll miss out on something better staying with that sucka.
I'm not setting myself up cause I don't talk to him like. And we can't get to close because he's at Norfolk and I'm at Hampton for one, and once again, I don't talk to him like that and we don't talk often. And like I said, it only takes one time for me because lying and cheating turns me completely off.
Anyway, I hope you really do delete this dude's number from the cell and just learn from the whole experience.

Megan if dude is still calling you and you have deleted his number and dont call him, why not just tell him you dont wanna talk to him anymore and hang up? Why not save his number so now when you know he is calling you, you can silence his call. Avoiding his phone calls shouldnt be too difficult of a task in this situation if you SINCERELY dont wanna talk to him anymore even as a friend. When he calls and you dont answer anymore he should get the point that you dont wanna talk to him anymore.
I honestly think you both are wrong. The dude been with this girl for 13 years and engaged to her while cheating with you and you not aware of this. You find out he's been lying to you and everything else. Yea you got over it, but its totally inappropriate for you to still keep ties with dude even if it is on a friend level. ESPECIALLY considering he is still with the same woman. It would be different if she broke up with him, and you forgave him and became cordial friends. But You cant blame her for being skeptical of the 2 of you. The same girl he was cheating on her with has magically become " just a friend. " Maybe the whole thing is very innocent but it does look extremely suspect, looking on the outside it. I just think its bad for business for you to even talk to him as a friend, and on the phone after everything that has went down between the three of you.
