What, if any information does anyone have about the Masons. I have done my research and everything seems cool, but I just need that reassurance from a group of people. So if you know anything please let me know. :?:

My soror who is an Oes did say they know the shields and the breakdown of the colors of each.
I don't even believe that. I want them to tell me about my "shield." Unless it's a soror who is affiliated with both, I don't think they know the information.

1st of all the Order of the Eastern Star has open houses. which means during a certain time we allow women to be stars if they dont have a bloodline. Also we have a youth group called the Gleaners in which young girls from ages 8-18 are mentored by STARS and later on if they decide that they want to be stars the
2nd OES was started by Robert Morris around 1850, and completed by Rob Mccoy (which alot of masons use his rituals and books) in Michigan. A mason name Thorton A. Jackson started OES(PHA) for black women in 1874!!!! the purpose of OES was Robert Morris wanted his female family members to be able to communciate masonically but know the secrets of a master mason!!! Now there are female in history that have been master masons.
NOW most stars esp. greeks dont go and look into the history of OES and just want the name and fame. I read some people posts up here and its sad that yall claim to greek but dont now your Eastern Star history and its in the front of your ritual book!! i will blow any of wack **** greeks to pieces!!!
