Hello Ladies! Good luck with the college process! I'm a freshman at Spelman this year. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me. FOOD- The food isn't awful. The caferia menu is just very repetitive. We have chicken and rice all the time Housing- All freshman stay in HH, Manley, Abbey, Morehouse James, or LLC. Be warned, LLC is the only dorm with a/c. Freshman DO NOT stay in the new residence hall lol. SOCIAL LIFE- The social life at Spelman is amazing. Atlanta is a fantastic city! Students hang out off campus a lot. Atlantic Station, Lenox Mall, and Jazman's (morehouse's cafe) are popular destinations. WORK LOAD- The school work is manageable. Come ready to work. You can count on your sisters for academic support. NEIGHBORHOOD- The neighborhood around Spelman is a little rough, but it isn't terrible. You will see a couple crackheads in the West End neighborhood, but they'll NEVER be on campus. Spelman takes public safely really serious.

I wonder can we send extra stuff with the application... like, stuff that we're extra proud of. . . stuff that'll just boost our chances, or will they see it as doing too much? hmmmm
You should definitely send a resume of all of your accomplishments.
