is it just me or are white people quick to stand up and cheer and clap for athletes on the court , but JUST AS QUICK to call a black person the "N" word right out side the arena/stadium?
is it just me or is there a bill cosby cult thing popping up, the man said a few things racist white people have been saying since the civil rights movement and we automatically listen to him since he is a black iconic celebrity who sold a few jello pudding pops...and according to him black people who are in higher financial brackets have nothing wrong with them even him who cheated on his wife and talks INCESSANTLY about the destruction of the black family, and poor people are just the bane of the black existence for our thoughts and survival skills, cause ill be damned if im gonna let a man chastise the things my mother did to keep food in my mouth and to help me have the proper education...of course it may not have been right some of the things she did but it helped me become a better person.....and sad to say life isnt all rosy for all blacks like the "huxtable life"...as richard pryor said "bill cosby can have a coke and smile for all i f**king care, if im getting paid i dont give a da*n who i offend"....sorry my bad , post got a bit too long.
^^^^ Bill Cosby is trying to do something positive , he wants to plant a seed for the future. Why do you focus on his past and negatives about him.
because he focused ON THE NEGATIVES of the people in my social and financial bracket thats why! if he wouldve focused on ALL BLACK people need to improve on this and that AT FIRST i wouldve been all for it, but to focus on one social group is ludicrous cause we all need help....and MLK cheated on his wife as well but the reason i respect MLK is because he doesnt chastise a single group and tries to improve all races and genuinely help and educate instead of lecture, and there is the big difference, MLK saw the big picture, cosby just sees the stereotype and harps on it so people can look up to him

why would you even ask a question like that??brotha ya should know!
the positives
1--we have great survival skills
2--most have a great sense of family
3--we work 3 times harder for something that a richer person would take for granted
4--we have more of a genuine sense of caring about ALL PEOPLE in whichever social class and look out for one another
5--we will talk and listen to people, and I have seen people turn their noses at certain people just because of the way they look or act or where they live especially at Howard... :roll:
6--the people in my group ARE NOT A STEREOTYPE, we dont all want to become drugdealers, hoes, etc...just like any social class there are goods and positives about us, but you cannot focus on the negative to make a great social change...you not only have to try to improve BUT UPLIFT AS WELL..and gain people's trust...and a leader or a wannabe leader should know this...
