I know this has already been talked about but I just want to know who uis relaxed and who is natural. Also are u happy with your hair state.... carry on :grin:

lol yes indeed...im only into my 2/3 month....and my hair actually grew pretty fast since my BC...and already people are asking me all these questions....sayin this and that....sayin its gonna be hard to take care of it.....and i just laugh and look at their permed hair (no offense to yall...i used to have one lol)....and smile and simply say "i'll manage"......they dont know.....
then i got people who are natural and have been for years...telling me what i should do..."ashley you should just lock it".......when im so not ready for that....i think locks are beautiful.....BUT...i dont know if i can do that....now right now at least.....lol

yea, people still ask me what i'ma do with my hair. and once mine started to get long (aka big) people would say things like "your hair would be so long if you straightened it right now". that's always good to hear. and for folks who rock straight hair, i respect folks as long as they respect themselves and me.

I kno dat a perm could **** your hair, thats why im very careful about using them, i flat iron my hair once a month, so technically my hair isnt being burned. Its when u put heat to your hair like once a week that it burns, and duh, i kno that no black sista was born with european styled hair (unless they mixed with some other race). I was not trying to insult ANYONE by my comments, especially not you, or my ancestors. I was just statin my opinion. Everyone's entitled to that. So i apoligize if i offended you. Maybe my point of view is the way that it is because everyone that i have ever saw with a natural either has an afro, or really **** hair just all over their head. are there any other styles that someone with a natural could rock besides those listed? Let me kno.

I agree that everyone is entitled to their opinions but its insulting when you say "**** hair is not hot"....now i could understand if you say Natural Hair is just not for you....thats understandable...and i was stating my opinion on the subject....Im sorry if it seems like im going overboard on this subject but this really hits close to home and it appears that people who don't understand what natural hair means to those who have and uplift it, seem to put it in a negative light....you may not like natural hair but others may find it beautiful....and ok maybe the people you know don't keep their hair well enough for you to approve....but still your comment insulted me nonetheless, but i understand that that was not your intent at all....
and there are many different natural styles besides a Fro and "**** hair all over your head"......there are two strand twists...sister locks....regular locks....coils.....twist out........and plenty more.....
maybe if you saw a wider range of natural styles you can see more than just "naps"......
I understand that everyone's perception of beauty...(body, hair whatever) is different from the next...i respect that...
